I haven't heard a single mention of kawhi and LMA in NBAtv :lol
Can't wait to see how our offense evolves with a talent like LMA.
Haven't watched a ton of LMA over the past few years..... What are his defensive capabilities playing for someone like pop? Is he limited in help defense/1-on1?
Cool to see the guys getting some extra work in after.
Apparently Leonard, Curry, Green, and Thompson had a shoot out game. Thompson was first to go and then Curry in this clip. Found that Leonard went next and Green won.
Nice
What a bum.
This is awesome
LMA is huge. Legit size.
kawhi working hard as usual..Not surprised he's one of the last ones to leave the gym, if not the last.
But I don't even know if it's even hard work at this point. :lol
I used to play soccer back in HS and a couple of the guys would stay hours after practice and just shot and pass. They just loved being around the field and playing...
I guess Kawhi has a similar love for the game...:lol
I wish Kawhi would bust out the fro for at least one game.
Kawhi is a fucking boss.
Damn, i wish Aldridge and Kawhi plays with the same colour team the 13th..Just to get a short glimpse of them playing together.
:lol
freaking NBA when are you going to start? :lol
I want to see Kawhi next to Lebron because I think Kawhi is getting as big as Lebron. Kawhi is getting big.
I'm not impressed with system player. Fooling around in the gym.
Is he working on them free throws or did he just abandon that part of his game? Smh.
Spotted a cuck.
Spotted a shield that deflects semen.
better not get hurt, tbh
Draymond Green?
Team usa ?
:lmao
excited to see them play together:flag:
Glad to see the Spurs finally got some American patriots on their team, tbh.
PROBasketball talk did their 12 man roster prediction, and they have Kawhi making the team next summer. They say that coach K always wants that defensive bulldog. It was Iguodala last time, and they see Kawhi slipping into that role easily. He'll also shoot better than Iguodala, a big plus in FIBA ball.
Kawhi haters, it's hard to believe they actually exist...but they do here.
I understand players like Kobe Westbrook selfish-narcissistic-smug can have haters.
But guys like Kool Bob Love, TheGreatYatch, Lbbbywhatever, hating a team-first minded player, humble, quiet kid?
Hard to understand them...unless they're LeBron fans and hate Kawhi for the 2014 Finals.

Aldridge has a salty history with Team USA and has yet to wear the jersey. Love's three-point shot, rebounding ability and fruitful relationship with this program could vault him up list, but he needs to be healthy and less culpable on defense. He's still a very good player, and it's interesting to think about how/whether LeBron James will influence Love's inclusion.
Tier 4: 3-and D Hunger Games
SG Klay Thompson, Kawhi Leonard, SF Jimmy Butler, SF Draymond Green, SF Paul George
Every team needs three-point shooting and impenetrable perimeter defense. All five of these players offer that, in varying degrees. Leonard feels like he should be a lock. Coach K can throw him on the other team's best player and virtually guarantee an emotional meltdown by the third quarter. Thompson's shooting is lethal for someone his size, and Green is the type of pugnacious competitor who's desired by every basketball team in the known universe.
Butler and George aren't brilliant spot-up shooters, but their two-way versatility makes them intriguing names to throw in the hat. (Considering what happened last summer, George's standing with Team USA is more fascinating than anyone's.) It's hard to see more than two making it from this group — ”which is a shame — but Team USA can't go wrong with whomever it chooses.
My way-too-early prediction on who makes it:
Guards: Stephen Curry, Russell Westbrook, Kyrie Irving, James Harden
Wings: LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard, Klay Thompson
Bigs: Dwight Howard, DeMarcus Cousins, Blake Griffin, Anthony Davis
I'd rather a power forward who can shot like Aldridge/Love over Dwight Howard. Having him is redundant with Cousins and Davis on the team.
Kawhi looks like a mini LeBron, wonder what his current weight is. That said, LaMarcus standing next to him looks huge.
Here is a video of Tom Thibodeau coaching Kawhi and the other players at USA Basketball camp.

If everybody from the current poll is healthy I doubt that any of our heroes will make the team. I kind of hope that they dont.
Is it just me.... or does it look like Kawhi has put on 8-10 lbs of muscle? Dude puttin in work this off-season :ihit
Kawhi is definitely honing a Lebronesque built + MJ's swagger (see the chewing gum :lol)..cannot wait to see the next part of his evolution..I think he is primed to make a good step ahead not only from bball standpoint but also when it comes to leadership..just stay healthy son..
Kawhi developing that Leroid bulk.
Kawhi and Lebron playing together will be just ridiculous
Kawhi puttin' in work!
Also good to see him and LMA developing chemistry...both on and off the court it seems. Bodes well for next season, and the Spurs future.
Kawhi/LMA are going to be like Shaq/Kobe without the problems. A threepeat is guaranteed. I'm just joking but if the spurs can get just 1 title out of this duo it will be considered a success.
I have always been less than enthusiastic to see a Spur playing international ball, and I was not excited that Kawhi got an invite to join Team USA camp. But this is rather interesting and poignant. The symbolic passing of a torch. And more practically, an opportunity for our two Spurs representatives to bond some both on and off the court.
WTF is MCW doing there? LMAO
I've been saying this since for a long time. I don't know if it's because of the jump shooter reputation or what, but not a lot of people seem to realize that he's the exact same height as Splitter, only he has a longer wingspan and he's nearly 25 pounds heavier. The 240 listing is from when he entered the league and they listed him at 260 in the press release, but he said entering camp last year that he was 268 and that he was actually down a few pounds from where he had been.
Not a Team USA update but this was just uploaded. I remember watching this game live and the amazing game winner. Was the year we lost to LSU in the Elite Eight.

I'm not too happy about Kawhi putting on the muscle.
It just ends up slowing players down. Every wing guy who ever put weight eventually has to slim down, and the extra weight is just more for his knees to carry. He wasn't so slight that he was being punished down low, he was fine. He was scoring with power fine also. This extra weight could affect his speed, but also his nimble feet and agility.
Alright, what I want to actually know, and I've been wondering this most of the off-season - Did Kawhi end up working with Tim Grover? I read that he wanted to work with him during the 2014 off-season, but for whatever reason it didn't happen. Anyone know if he did this off-season?
Here's the roster for the game. No Aldridge.
In some post moves Kawhi's the most closest thing I've seen to Jordan in the last years. Hope we can watch him posting more and knocking down jumps next seson

It's because the big guns: Lebron, Westbrook, Durant, Melo, Chris Paul and others aren't participating in the showcase so these are the subs. That's why some people on twitter were complaining about the "lackluster roster." I was surprised too. Last year almost everyone that went to mini-camp played in the camp but after that Paul George injury I guess some players are hesitant to join the scrimmage. So the ones who are playing tomorrow it will be like an audition for them since those big guns are pretty much locks to make the team.
The only basketball we will get to see before season start :lol
I am pumped for the Blue vs White team :lol

Team Blue going to get the business.
When does this start? Anywhere to stream?
it's about to start
A lot of the big name players backed out. Sucks for all the people who paid to see them.
:cry Kawhi
Oh, basketball, how I missed thee
2 straight rim outs on dunks for the white team lol
How many shots has Cousins taken already? :lol
No defense. Just an all star game.
Cancer-Williams doing cancerous things
This is like watching the rookie game...
This is going to get boring in a while.
Pro YMCA ball is not entertaining
Just tuned in. This is nonsense. Players are playing defense like it's an all star game.
Kawhi looks good at half speed though
Leonard bringing the ball up quite a bit.
Drummond is an athletic freak. He will lead the league in REB this year IMO.
It's a weird mix of pre-game shoot around and layup lines that are all dunks.
Where can I see the boxscore?
Klay sucks at throwing oops tbh..
Bunch of scrubs playing. This game is worst than the AS.
These guys are weenies compared to the Dream Team v College Select Team. Evidence of how business in the NBA supersedes competitiveness. Kind of sad
I'm really interested to see if Plumlee takes a step forward on a new team after a really disappointing year. He could at least be a more athletic RoLo.
