35 year old 6'9" West? 6'8" Diaw? Bonner?

I'm already too excited and the game isn't for another 7 hrs.
Almost HALF A YEAR since we have seen meaningful Spurs basketball.

even with that we could have won...
dat game 6 :rolleyes only TP, TD and SJax came to play this game... those 3 scored 77 pts of the Spurs 99 while kawhi, manu, neal and bobo went full MIA... difficult to win at 3 vs. 5... we lost despite 12 assists of TP, 14 rebounds of Tim and 6 3s of Jax... unbelievable

Starting Bonner in games 4-6 was key to the 2014 series. For one reason or another, Bonner kept Ibaka out of the paint. Strange considering that fucker hasn't made a trey in the past 4 years. He's like a Pro Wrestler in that regard.

Both his effectiveness (pulling Ibaka out of the paint) and his ineffectiveness (never making an important shot) you mention are spot on. I can only think the reason it works was Scotty Brooks was an idiot?

Re: Game Thread #1: Spurs at Thunder 10/28 8:00 EST (7:00 CST, 2:00 Riga Time)
I've been waiting far too long for tonight's game. I hate the offseason. I'm guessing it will take till December for everyone to gel but who knows. I wouldn't mind seeing David West knock Serge Ibaka on his ass to start the season off. I'm predicting an easy win for the good guys tonight.
:bobo Here is to a new season, no injuries, and hopefully we are still making game threads through the middle of June. :flag::flag:
