Even if AD does play, should be a fairly easy win given all the other guys they have injured at the moment. Hopefully the guys can take care of business and finish the game early so that the minutes stay down and everyone is available for tomorrow's game vs. Memphis.

Good thing we won't have to face the Jimmer!
For some reason though, as bad as Pelicans have been playing...I still smell a trap game here. Some unknown scrub is gonna go off for 25.

Either Ish thomas or Ajinca...one of them will score 15+ points tonight

For some reason, these Pelicans scrubs have a hard on for the Spurs..Expecting this to be tricky if AD suits up..

I actually think Monty Williams was our problem ...

Pelicans are the worst team in the league, just like 2005. Nice to have a shitty team to beat up on within the division for a change.

Good news, tbh..I want to see the Spurs respond to getting tested early on..

Not gonna be pussy it out, LMA with a good game, Kawow with a solid overall game, MVPorker with decent defensive outing, the Spurs will win it comfortably. :tu
I will sit nice & easy with this solid fiber optic connection & some online streaming for my beloved Spurs in this Saturday morning, Jakarta time. Ofcourse will be switching back & forth with Knicks @ thunder game at NBA TV, Go Porzingis Go !! :D

Damn choking ass Clippers, Spurs could have been one game back in the loss column!

That is typical of the Clippers but it doesn't matter. Barring injuries to the Warriors I don't see the Spurs catching them regardless.

Lot of Spur killers on that Pelicans roster, but thankfully most of them are out. Contain Gordon, Anderson, and Holiday; let Davis go for 50.

Why not? Spurs are only a few plays away from being undefeated as well.

Spurs have done great thus far, but their schedule has been pretty easy. We all know eventually pop will rest guys and some games will be sacrificed. Given what happened last year, Pop will probably work harder for a 2 seed this year but he won't push guys to chase the Warriors. The Warriors are going to run away with the best record.
And I like your reason...they were a few plays away from being undefeated. Warriors were not. They made them.
<shrug> It just isn't reasonable to expect the Spurs to keep pace with them. That's OK with me. Spurs MO is likely to be lose 2 out of 3 (or even all 3 games) to the Warriors in the regular season and beat them in the playoffs.

I'm so happy we got this easy schedule. We'd be doing a LOT worse if we played good teams. These are horrible. Its given us a chance to build together without losing a bunch of games. We look a lot sharper now than at the beginning and aren't in a bad position record wise.
On topic with the thread, are the lels expected to play anyone? They're pretty injured and I don't know who's going to play.

Exactly, a lot of people are bitching about the strength of schedule, but it's exactly what the Spurs needed considering all of the new pieces being incorporated. Lets them find their groove without being buried record-wise, which would have just killed the morale of the team (which isn't gonna help build chemistry) and caused even more cliff-jumping and bitching around here.
Hell, people are still complaining and the Spurs are 9-2 and 2nd in the league...can you imagine if we were 6-5?

Roger that. Fortunate schedule to give the team a little time to gel. Against quality opponents, 7 and 4 would have probably been the over/under given how they have played.
I have not looked at who they are suiting up tonight.
