Kawhi is still a question mark but hopefully he plays. Lowry has been on fire lately and Terrence Ross has come out of a season long slump to show signs of life.
I will be at the game tonight so if you see a random fan run onto the court trying to high five Ginobili only to get tackled by security you'll know it's me.

Have a great time at the ame tonight!

Spurs should place a friendly wager on this game with the Raps. If we win, Cojo returns to SA with us. If we lose, they get to keep Bonner.

This game has me worried. We don't do well with young athletic teams. I'm afraid a L is coming. Hope I'm wrong.

Re: Game Thread: Spurs @ Raptors -- Wed. (12/9) - 6:30PM CST (2:30AM Riga Time)
Kyle Lowry triple double.
CoJo 20 pts.
Scola 4 3pts.
Spurs lose.

Should hopefully be a win considering both Carroll and Valunciunas are out, but you never know playing in Toronto. Would be nice if Kawhi could play.

Sorry Amused, I would support your thread if Kawhi played tonight... But he's most likely not. Can't risk an injury to our most important players LMA, Parker, Duncan, Green, Ginobili, Mills, Diaw, West, Anderson, Simmons, Butler, Boban, & McCallum.

Nice. I'm sure Pop will limit his minutes.

Spurs play some strange games in Toronto, for whatever reason.
Last year, they shot 33% at ACC; the worst team shooting performance of the Duncan era also took place in Toronto in February 2002, when the Spurs shot 24% for the game, still managed to get it to overtime, and ended up losing by 6 while managing only 35 points in the 29 minutes after halftime. In early 2004-05, they had a 19 point lead at the end of 3 quarters and lost by 5, getting outscored 33-9 in the 4th (mostly by Rafer Alston and Lamond Murray).
On the flip side, 2 of the 10 best road shooting performances in the Duncan era have both happened in Toronto -- a 59.8% night in a 26 point win in 2003 and a 59.0% night in February of 2006. In keeping with the weirdness of Toronto games, though, the 2006 game went to overtime even though the Raps shot only 49% from the floor on only 2 more FGA than the Spurs and even though the Spurs had fewer turnovers.
They're somehow still 10-6 in Toronto during the championship era, but I think the best bet for any game in Toronto at this point is that something funky will happen.

I'm assuming he got IV treatments.

“He’s getting back and feeling pretty good,” Popovich said this morning. “I think he’ll probably play. They gave him some fluid, and it’s been another day. He might start out a little slow and get his rhythm back, but he’ll be fine.”

Raptors is #8 in Power Rankings. http://espn.go.com/nba/powerrankings I should expect some decent competition for a change.
Celtics were #9 and Spurs weren't able to blow them out.
Should be a good test, the Raptors almost beat GSW a couple days ago.

Re: Game Thread: Spurs @ Raptors -- Wed. (12/9) - 6:30PM CST (2:30AM Riga Time)
Raptors are very solid at home. Ginobili always gets a nice reception when he comes to town. I've been to every Spurs game in Toronto since the 2003-2004 season and my favorite is probably the OT win the Spurs had back in 2012: http://espn.go.com/nba/recap?id=400277911
And BatManu20 I am not looking to mess with your game threads/win streak. Only started the game thread cause I was going to the game. From here on out, it's all you man :tu

Alright now that Kawhi should be playing, I'll be a bit disappointed if we lose to the Raptors. I know it's in Toronto, but they're missing 2 starters.
