Hard to believe you don't do so well with the ladies. (It's not the IQ!)

West is starting.
West starting makes no sense, since there's a natural match-up for Duncan, in Gortat and Aldridge is more nimble than West and therefore better suited to "hide" on Dudley or Porter. Plus, Dudley would be left to defend Duncan.
Given Duncan's recent games off and limited workload, plus the fact that the immediate upcoming schedule is relatively light, sitting him is both pointless and unnecessary.

Duncan is the oldest player on the roster, and arguably still the rock of this team. ANY rest he gets between now and the playoffs is good rest.

less that $25,000/year... isn't that like minimum wage? With 4 kids, no wonder he was close to giving up.
all food paid when travelling, and maybe a comfortable per diem.
Great personal history these past couple years, wishing him all the best. needs to play a little more under control, maybe a little slower at times, but obviously Pop thinks he's on to something, helping a kid get established is probably one of Pop's greatest rewards.

Yeah definately weird that Tim is out.. I looked ahead in he schedule assuming there was either a B2B, 3
games in 4 nights or 5 games in 7 nights etc but there isn't.. In fact th schedule is light as..

Re: Game Thread: Spurs vs Wizards -- Wed. (12/16) - 7:30PM CST (3:30AM Riga Time)
He should sit out some nonbacktoback nights. Sitting out one of a back to back doesn't offer the same number of days off as he will play one of the two generally. Not sure why there is any concern over this.

Tim resting is a good thing! We are going to give the Wizards a good old fashion beat down! :ihit

He's well rested, more than likely wouldn't be required for significant minutes and all this does is increase the odds of them losing a game they shouldn't or playing key players more.
I'd rather he get off against Dudley. He seems somewhat dejected lately with just how much his role has changed offensively. Against the Hawks, he hung his head and sauntered off when pulled in the 1st quarter and Pop clearly noticed, which is why he re-inserted him earlier than usual and played him 31 minutes on the second night of a back to back, in a blowout.

Youre assuming way too much. Unless youre trolling. Then good job.

you're underestimating the need and value of multiple days of uninterupted rest... Record be damned...with a 40 year old guy this is gold.

And, I like how you throw this out there...
"He's well rested..."
According to YOU?

Weird night at the AT&T Center. In addition to the people dressed as random superheroes, just passed a group of six nuns in full habits topped off with various Spurs player jerseys.

Duncan resting when we don't have a B2B tells me Pop REALLY wants that LAC game on Friday.

Hopefully the Wizards get a lot of those in the box score.
