Oddly enough last nite was one of Leonard's game with nice assists.

I understand what he meant when he said "Kawhi wasn't even in the play". He was trying to say that on some of his shots that Kawhi wasn't even defending and he was still missing. So that meant to him that he was just having an off night anyway. He just didn't word it correctly.

However, the times Kawhi WAS there did in fact affect his shots.

I can agree with that, if reworded, his statement is perfectly accurate. Kawhi had a monster night regardless of what anyone else says.

Think next time they match up, it will be more even and competitive between the two?

Yes Kawhi had a monster night regardless.

And yes it should be much more competitive. Especially if they are both healthy. George knows he will have to play better because there can't be an excuse next time.
