Surprised that you didn't cite the infamous Dirk foul by Manu. Tbh, I don't have a score card; I couldn't tell you game-by-game, season-by-season or playoff-by-playoff when Manu has delivered more good than bad or vice versa. His entire career he has been a "Oh no, don't...Yes, great play!" kind of player. I have thrown more figurative shoes at my TV because of his bone-headed turnovers, but also leaped out of my seat more for some of his astounding passes or drives than I have any other player ever. As Pop says, "He's Manu Ginobili." Like Pop, we have learned to live with it.

George Karl system stats tbh.. He made Lawson look like a PG :lol Ironically, both are team cancers & Rondo kills ball movement.

Re: 1st All-Star Voting Returns
Btw y'all MF's need to start voting. Instead of being on whataburger.com all day.
LMAlpha took a paycut, is sacrificing individual numbers, and is playing the best defense of his life. Get that man in there

Can you stop being a Spurs fan then? Root for the Mavs or something.

These sports leagues love their popularity contests.

Re: 1st All-Star Voting Returns
Voting for individual players on nba.com is horrible, wtf did they do. Sorted alphabetically, you gotta scroll through hundreds of players to pick who you want to vote
fuck that, google vote 10 spurs takes 15 secs

Re: 1st All-Star Voting Returns
steeledl shitting up another thread. Sucking Kobe's dick while trashing a Spur legend like Manu. No coincidence this retard is a Tony Parker player fan.

Re: 1st All-Star Voting Returns
Minnesota got Kevin Love to start in the All Star game. If they can do it, we definitely should. Our fans are better aren't they. Starters are picked by the fans. We can do better. He's fourth. We can easily get him in, in appreciation. I'm gonna start voting everyday, make a thread, and try to get pounding the rock guys and 48 moh to post. Someone's gotta do it. Kawhi is too good and he deserves it. And it's so easy to vote. Alot of people are being lazy. kawhi has single handedly saved this team from being a playoff team that doesn't go far.

So what will they do if Kerr hasn't returned by that date? I imagine that Pop would just as soon have the week off, but it is something to watch.

Re: 1st All-Star Voting Returns
San Antonio is piss poor with player support tbh. Someone like TD should regularly get 500k in votes.every year.
Kawhi is having an MVP season and still trails Griffin.
:lmao
Empty seats, all star support etc. SA Is a piss poor sport city.
-
Re: 1st All-Star Voting Returns
There's a difference between empty seats and unsold seats. When you have a successful franchise, ownership is able to get companies to pony up for seats so they have them for the biggest games. Means more may go unused. That's not to say they're not getting sold. Season tickets this year fully sold out.
Not to mention in the expensive seats, you can spend a lot more time in the lounges / boxes, especially for a RS game. Not sure how they're set up at the renovated AT&T center but on the few occasions I've scored my company's tickets at MSG (typically a Saturday afternoon meaningless college b-ball game), there are seats on the floor and a box under them at floor level. That's where you get all the free food and booze.
On voting, SA doesn't do all these silly campaigns that other teams do, either for ASG or end of season awards. Remember how teams like the Clippers sent care packages around for DJ DPOY?

Re: 1st All-Star Voting Returns
Kawhi's a lock for the all star game as a coach's selection, so the voting stuff doesn't matter to me at all. Apolisoc, as a player fan, is naturally all caught up in popularity contests, media attention, & glitz. His persona is the diametrical opposite of Pop, Tim, Kawhi, Manu, etc... which is what makes him so annoying.

Well, you are partially correct. That is ONE of the things that make him so annoying.
But there are so many others...
I knew it was too good to be true that he would actually stay away after saying he would ( kinda like him swearing that he would 'never post again' if Kawhi didn't score something like 29 points one night?) Kawhi didn't but Apo never blinked....just keeps coming back.
Most recently AGAIN announced he was leaving the forum, only to be back in a week!
It was kind of nice to have civil discourse in the games when he was gone, though. Pleasant break.

Re: 1st All-Star Voting Returns
Griffin will be overtaken in votes, but i see Draymond or AD making the jump to the starting lineup..the next update will tell if Kawhi has a chance to make it straight out of direct fan votes..
