I am also a little disinterested in Spurs matters these days ... I guess I miss Timmy on the team

About time we get a signature road win..Even in a bumpy last season, Spurs won early in Golden state/Clippers..A historic team can,'t have Detroit as its best road W as we enter February, tbh..

Yes I would not call it a trap game.
Without Tim this will be difficult bc we hang our hat on defense. But this team needs to grow together through adversity and Lamarcus and Kawhi should come ready to battle. I don't expect them to concede anything.

:lol at this trap game nonsense ... we play the best team in the Eastern Conference

Kawhi and LMa should be able to get this.
Sadly we don't have Timmy to show LMa how to go to work when he's off, or make the Cavs need 2 good post defenders.
Hopefully LMa means business this time.

Looking forward to a more involved Kawhi and LMA now that Tim Duncan is out.

Without Timmy, Spurs won't be able to contain the Cavs like they did in the last 3 Qs of first game..Kawhi/LMA/Parker will have to combine +50 points for us to be in good position to win this one...

D-West was the best player amongst the bigs during the first matchup, just need LMA to protect the rim b/c LeBron is going to take advantage of Tim's absence & attack the paint.
West/LMA are also a better matchup than Tim/LMA against a stretch 4 like Love but might have to play Boban against Mozgov.

I agree. Frankly Diaw has regressed a little don't you think?
He wasn't a factor against Chicago or GSW, and he came up with an 0fer against Houston. Anderson has been playing better. I am an Anderson fan and all, but I also like Diaw very much, and have liked him for longer, he's been disappointing for a few games in a row.
Patty has been sucking too.
Simmons and Anderson coming in strong for minutes lol

Diaw not being a game changer against the Warriors has been one of the most unreported stories in here..I checked his game logs, he has 1 single double digit points game vs the Dubs in 13 games as a Spur (39% shooting)..Our supposed front court advantage in that matchup might have been bit overrated..:(

I've been saying this since the season started when folks were boasting out Diaw punking Draymond (the 2nd best defender in the league).:lol

Looking foward to LMA living up to his all-star reserve status. He needs to be a big man doing big man stuff. I like his offensive rebounds in the game against Houston, that could be his niche, something the Spurs dont do much. Time to be a monster LMA

Yeah, that's pretty a considerable sample size.I won't say the same for LMA until i see him in the reamaiing 3 reg games..Spurs have zero chance of putting a fight, much less win a series, vs the Warriors if this what Aldridge/Diaw bring to the table as far as an inside game scoring...Only Timmy can punk him but he won't see the court when they go small..
