Why is Kawhi getting a pass?

But LMA needs the ball more than Kawhi. LMA can get offensive rebounds, which I think he should and think he could be good at it but other than that you waste his talent if you dont feed him the ball. Kawhi can get points in many other ways. Stop pitting them against each other. We need both that is why LMA was signed.

This problem needs to be tackled by Popovich and Parker. They have to find the right chemistry that works.

his defense does seem to have suffered as he focuses on offense, and it's usually pretty ugly when he puts the ball on the floor. he should post up if he has the matchup, take a quick shot, or pass. and save his energy for defense.

Good role player. Not a main guy.

Yes. I noticed the lack of comfort he had at the top of the key trying to create his own offense. That shouldnt happen, he needs to know himself and frankly Parker shouldnt allow it. He needs to be a general now and smooth out this LMA, KL equasion. Pops should start yelling at Parker again.

Leonard is bulkier this year, that and the bigger offensive load is compromising his defense.

Spurs cannot win if they rely to much on Leonard on offense.

With Green riding the pine, Kawhi had to cover for 4 defenseless asses playing with him while checking Lebron and pouring 25 points of his own...dude is human..

Leonard's usage rate is down. His minutes are monitored as usual. That's not the problem.

In the beginning he was guarding his position while helping on others. But in the last month or so he's having to chase guards because our guards can't do their job. In the case of GS and Cavs he's even had to take on power forwards. That's taking a toll on him more than anything.
