Andre Miller: The future of the Spurs PG
Quote:
According to NBA.com's player tracking, 11.6 percent of Miller's total passes have resulted in assists—a number consistent with those posted by Golden State Warriors dynamos Stephen Curry and Draymond Green.
Article mentions LMAlphas best seasons came from Miller getting him involved in Portland.

...... when did he post these numbers? Who was president?

Re: Andre Miller: The future of the Spurs PG
Now that Manu's out. Spurs dont have enough players that can keep their dribble when in creating mode and dealing with elite rotating defenses . Too many times i see spurs leave their feet or dribble too long resulting in a bad decision .
Tony has gotten better at it this season but Miller fits that mould of ability to hold that dribble and get what the offense gives.
Limited mins offcourse since Spurs weakest link on d is getting back on transition.

Re: Andre Miller: The future of the Spurs PG
The fact that he played with Aldridge in Portland is big. Older players sometimes thrive with limited minutes. Hope he does well for Spurs.

Re: Andre Miller: The future of the Spurs PG
I always liked his game, I'm just not sure how much he has left.
-
Re: Andre Miller: The future of the Spurs PG
Wonder if he'll be available Wed..

I don't recall the year but I think that president was killed in a duel.

Re: Andre Miller: The future of the Spurs PG
The future of the Spurs PG? Are you talking about Andre Miller III, the grandson? Is he eligible for the draft this year and is somehow slated to be picked in the late first round or something?

:lol Yeah, "future" is not the right word...his future is in a retirement home or hospital.
Great option for a backup point, though.

That's actually this season when he's been on the court with the wolves.
And yes, it was sarcasm homies, but I do believe he's a good pickup. :lol

Re: Andre Miller: The future of the Spurs PG
I see the future in Andre Miller being the next old timer in telling the media that Steph Curry wouldn't be doing what he's doing in "his" day.
-
Re: Andre Miller: The future of the Spurs PG
He's Manu insurance, nothing more. He'll allow Mills to play off the ball in the second unit and take minutes away from Simmons/Anderson who won't see any playoff basketball anyway.
-
Re: Andre Miller: The future of the Spurs PG
Remember when he scored 50 pts on Dallas :lmao

In limited minutes, it appears he has a lot left; as his numbers have actually been up. It's just a matter of fit, tbh. I'm anxious to see....

Re: Andre Miller: The future of the Spurs PG
Spurs may have made a genius move. A previous poster said all positions can post up with the addition of Andre Miller. Spurs may have decided to deliberately do that so if Steph Curry goes up against Andre Miller on defense, the posting up will tire Curry out.

Re: Andre Miller: The future of the Spurs PG
Goooooooooooooooooooooo Spurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrssssssssssssss go
-
Re: Andre Miller: The future of the Spurs PG
He's the future past. They'll get him from '06 and bring him back to '16 so he can thrive with LMa, then send the old one home.

The SG position can't.

First thing pop said about him was how smart abplayer he was. This offense lacks that commander at the point they've been needing for awhile. I really hope the spurs can pick up a like minded rook in the draft to build with Kawhi.

Re: Andre Miller: The future of the Spurs PG
He's Diaw lite. Not real lite but lighter than Diaw.

Re: Andre Miller: The future of the Spurs PG
They're playing against the 29th ranked D in the NBA, and his opposition is the worst shooting PG in NBA history:lol
Let's see how he does vs. real teams before crowning him and saying he's a legit alternative for when TP is struggling, tbh..
