I see no justification for Klay being higher than jimmy butler

From the introduction to the list:
Players out with long-lasting injuries (Blake Griffin, Jimmy Butler) aren't included.

Re: SIAP: Top 20 Players in the NBA, per ESPN
I think KD and Kawhi are legit the 2nd or third best players in the world. Love russ but paul is a more impactful player.1

Re: SIAP: Top 20 Players in the NBA, per ESPN
I'd actually argue Westbrook > Durrant. And move Harden way down.

Curry at 1 is absurd. Lebron, Leonard, Westbrook, ahead.

Re: SIAP: Top 20 Players in the NBA, per ESPN
:lol Thunder having two top 5 players, yet only the 3rd best team in their conference

Re: SIAP: Top 20 Players in the NBA, per ESPN

Thunder with KD/Westbrook both playing: net rating = +11.8
It's pretty embarrassing how bad that team is without those two :lol Also doesn't help that the Warriors/Spurs are a combined 104-14 :wow

Re: SIAP: Top 20 Players in the NBA, per ESPN
Anyways, I'm fine with Kawhi at 5. If we're just looking at what people have done so far this season, I think he's been top 3, but overall I can understand why someone would choose guys like LeBron/KD/Westbrook over him.

They have both had similiar averages this year in points and rebounds. Westbrook is almost averaging a triple double and is more in control than previous years where I generally didnt like him. Taking the same team and subtracting Westbrook or Durrant, which one would have the better record? Ill take Westbrooks relentless drive every second hes on the court. Durrant doesnt have the same drive or killer instinct tbh its a cointoss listwise.

Durrant literally threw that GS game away with just about everything you shouldnt do in last few seconds :lol
WB carrying that team last year without Durrant.

It all started with WB inbouding way too fast, and towards the corner... Be it then or yesterday, what really costs OKC all the time is Westbrook extremely poor decision-making in the clutch.

Re: SIAP: Top 20 Players in the NBA, per ESPN
Did those dickheads put Ron Artest in the same sentence as Kawhi? WTF? And I refuse to call the dipshit who rushes into the stands to beat up fans Metta World Peace. Sure he did have a few good years before and after the Malace at the Palace with some good numbers with high usage but geez, bad comparison. Not to mention the shooting % differential.

Agree. The whole thing is wrong... "Think back to 2004, when for seven games Metta World Peace (then known as Ron Artest) played like a bona fide MVP candidate..."
Kawhi's playing at this high level for 55 games in the season, he's #3 in RPM, #5 in PER, #1 in DBPM and #1 in DefRt among non-bigs, shooting over 51 FG%, 48 3FG%, 88 FTs...

Couldn't read it, after I saw the author.
Just couldn't do it. The media just doesn't know, and how could they? Who has the time to cover every single NBA team so in depth that they are knowledgeable in their every post/article/tweet?
Not when they have daily deadlines anyway...
No. These dudes do their minimal best and use other people's opinions (sources) as their verbal filler.
But still... I'd like to know what Broussard is pulling down in his yearly gross.
I wouldn't say it's more than me, but I'm willing to bet he works less for his than I do mine..
I may need to look into a change of scenery...
