Maybe Bonner starts for a last bow.

Re: Game Thread: Spurs vs Kings -- Sat. (3/5) - 7:30PM CST (3:30AM Riga Time)
ugh, Danny is 28, and has been averaging a measly 26 mpg this season... I don't get the "overplayed" and "rest" there, unless there's something else going on...
If that's what it is, it's stupid. He's gonna have to overplay Kawhi tonight if he wants to win... smh

At this point I've all but come to terms with the fact Butler will be cut. Bonner is just too popular both inside and outside the organization to be let go.

Re: Game Thread: Spurs vs Kings -- Sat. (3/5) - 7:30PM CST (3:30AM Riga Time)
A team with Kawhi, Tony and David West at home should still be favored over the scrub Kings. It'll just be a little tougher now.
Spurs win by ten.

Should have taken the points earlier today tbh :lol

He'll have to go someday. :lol

Yeah, this is ridiculous. With Aldridge out, Duncan should be playing significant minutes tonight. This leaves West and Marjanovic as Cousins options. One is too small, the other is too slow.
I don't care what the standings say, it makes no sense to potentially throw in doubt what would likely otherwise be a virtual lock. If this was going to be done, it could have waited until the Timberwolves game.

Looks about right. I could also see Pop throwing Miller out there instead of Anderson to start next to Parker

Boogie will probably get thrown out by halftime tbh

Re: Game Thread: Spurs vs Kings -- Sat. (3/5) - 7:30PM CST (3:30AM Riga Time)
I fucking knew Poop was gonna do this shit, now Bonner will get his farewell... And will probably cause the Spurs a loss.
Good riddance POS

He doesn't play though and Butler has been ahead Bonner in the rotation as well as playing a small ball four all year long. I get what you're saying but it doesn't make sense as trends go this season.

Re: Game Thread: Spurs vs Kings -- Sat. (3/5) - 7:30PM CST (3:30AM Riga Time)
:lol This looks like Pop trying to sabotage that home winning streak before the Dubs do it... players probably not even paying attention to him when we play at home anymore...
-
Re: Game Thread: Spurs vs Kings -- Sat. (3/5) - 7:30PM CST (3:30AM Riga Time)
They just had 3 days off between the Jazz- Pistons games, ffs..Pop overthinks this shit..you rest them on the road against the Wolves and not against playoff chasing Kings at home..And its 34-yo Tony who needs it not Danny Green..

Re: Game Thread: Spurs vs Kings -- Sat. (3/5) - 7:30PM CST (3:30AM Riga Time)
Maybe it's misplaced but I'm still feeling optimistic about tonight's game. I guess we'll see. :lol

Re: Game Thread: Spurs vs Kings -- Sat. (3/5) - 7:30PM CST (3:30AM Riga Time)
Get Martin to commit, and make him sign the contract.... Nig might have second thoughts after this blowout

It's not misplaced. We're at home and we still have more talent.

Yep, the defense will definitely suffer tonight but we still have weapons and this Kings team is trash, tbh.

Since when has Pop ever used common sense, especially when it comes to Bonner tbh?

This. Don't see Pop waiving Butler, who is looking to ring at the end of his career while Bonner already has two rings. It sends a bad message to other vets who would want to come here. They'll give him a front office job. If Butler gets waived, he must have pulled Stephen Jackson like shit to do so.

Bonner/Diaw/Marjanovic
West/Butler
Leonard/Anderson/Butler
Simmons/Ginobili
Parker/Mills/Miller
Pop's probable SL tbh

Re: Game Thread: Spurs vs Kings -- Sat. (3/5) - 7:30PM CST (3:30AM Riga Time)
Might as well try to keep the bench unit together. They'll need it to play lights out to have any chance in this game.

True that and logic goes out the window when it comes to Pop's relationship with Bonner. Total shit move though if it were to happen.

There goes the spurs covering the +13 spread goodbye to my lunch money for a month fuck you pop
