Draymond Green's birthday was Friday night and they were in LA:lol..definitely the reason they lost..
They have definitely looked vulnerable, but their record vs. the other top teams is disgustingly good..

5-0
Don't particularly care, tbh... From what I read, I don't think the players care about these games much either...
I think the Spurs are just focused on getting better and better, and hopefully getting healthy. I'm pretty sure guys like Tim, Bobo are already bored of the regular season...
Don't forget GS is on a B2B. 4-1 is the most likely outcome if you ran the Vegas odds on each game (not line, but % win implied), but they'll be favored in all the games.
I think there is definitely some Regular Season boredom among the guys that have rings(outside of Kawhi, who is trying to get to MVP status), but the career losers like Aldridge and Kevin Martin could use some reps in high-pressure(relatively speaking, by Regular Season standards) games IMO..
Warriors, in particular, are the most hyped team since Jordan's Bulls..I think all the Spurs could use a confidence boost against them, including the big 3 and Pop..
If we don't grab a win against the Warriors on a second night B2B, and after that 30 point pasting, shit would be demoralizing, tbh..
I'll take 4-1 with one L to OKC or the new pain in the ass that is Paul and Clippers
I'll go 4-1. Loss to the Dubs. Close wins over OKC and Clips.
4-1.
I expect us to lose to either GS or OKC. One of not both.
Easy 5-0. Can't believe so many posters don't have balls tbh
5-0
I can live with 2-3 if we beat OKC and GS; except, I can't cos we'd lose ground to GS.
5-0 would be pretty extremely impressive...I'll go with 4-1 with a loss to either OKC or Golden State. Would be fine with 3-2 as long as one of those wins comes against Golden State.
Best case: 5-0
Worst case: 3-2
Realistic case: 4-1
I predict 4-1, capped off by a 20+ point win over Golden State.
If K-Mart is available & Porky is still out then the Spurs should be fine otherwise Porky/Danny will get raw dogged by CP3/ReDick.:lol Hopefully, Porky will be back for the Blazers game b/c Lillard can't check him.:lol
OKC will be on a home-away B2B against a Spurs team playing w/ a rest day & no travel. Same for the Worriers except they will be traveling from Dallas to SA.Quote:
OKC is 18-12 on the road..would be pretty disappointing if the Spurs lose, but I suppose a poor effort is possible, since they haven't met since game 1 of the RS..
So, a 5-0 home stand is realistic as long as Porky doesn't fuck it up (He better not return for the Bulls game b/c that will be one of those national TV Ls:lol)
We are capable of winning them all, but probably won't bc Pop doesn't have the urgency of seeding and neither do the players like ElNono said, who have repeatedly stated they don't care about catching GSW and are focusing on improving as a team.
+ I find Pop still experimenting this late in the season bc of the new additions and despite most dismissing Anderson there is still a lot of testing to be done bc him and Butler were a big part of our defense when you had to bench Timmy bc of the presence of mobile shooting bigs who bomb away from 3 and Butler might be the odd man out (I still find cutting him tough bc as a situational player against these kinds of teams he even closed our games for us and provided surprising rim protection for a man 6'8.) POP did not go to Boris against these kind of matchups. Maybe he feels like he can survive and make do with Boris/ Anderson, but in that case, if there is any conceivable scenario where you think you will need Anderson you have to get him ready for that.
Would not even surprise me if we get a CIA Pop style malady from someone.
So I am getting ready for the meltdowns.
All that matters is us getting better, CIA Pop finding out whatever he wants to find out, trying the new guys in different lineups (fir example if you foresee the need for Martin with the starters at some point you have to play them together and test that out.)
We probably drop a couple bc combination of CiA Pop, Manu still getting in his groove against good/elite competition, and we can't dismiss said good competition's motivation to kick our asses.
They'll lose to Chicago, Oklahoma and Golden State.
Dont care as long as we beat okc AND gsw.
Best case: 5-0
Second best case: 4-1
Above average case: 3-2
Below average case: 2-3
Bad Case: 1-4
Worst case: 0-5
I have my bases covered ...
Manu is healthy so unfortunately we going 2-3
Possibly 3-2 if Manu sits a game.
2-3 win over blazers and dubs
