As much as I hate Lillard, he and McCollum both may feast on us. And I have a ton of respect for the way that the Blazers rebuilt on the fly this off-season after losing 4/5 of their starting line-up. The holdovers will be out for blood.
I hate that this game is the game immediately before our big game against the Dubs. Portland's backcourt will put some wear on ours, making the matchup against Curry/Klay even tougher.
Plus, we just had a great offensive outing against the hated Clips. No doubt we will struggle next game to find offensive rhythm and/or production. We are Spurs; that's what we do.

Lillard gets 32 points on 30 shots. McCallum shoots 5/8 makes 16 points but is frozen out by Lillard. Spurs win, 106-93

Lillard has been a slump buster for Porker so if he doesn't have a good game then put a fork in him. Hopefully, Pop will put Kawhi on Lillard instead of Porker b/c dude is impossible to contain once he gets going ala Curry. CJ is the type of guard that gives Danny trouble so just have to live w/ him getting his 20 pt rather than 40 by putting Porker on him.:lol

I didn't predict it, but 5-0...pretty damn impressive! Considering the level of competition, have the Spurs ever had a better week?

At least they didn't lose:lol

Thanks for making my 4-1 prediction worthless Spurs! 5-0 is sooo much better.

So, a 5-0 home stand is realistic as long as Porky doesn't fuck it up

As Chinook mentioned in another thread, winning a close game that both teams clearly wanted was much better than winning in a blowout where their best players hardly played. Also was much more indicative of where the match up is than a game in January.
