Nice interview. Always like to hear from Manu. Pure class.
:toast
Spur podcast of the year TBH :tu thank you for sharing!
Excellent podcast! Manu's the best. Thanks for sharing.
Woj is getting a lot of top people on his podcast.
Most powerful man in NBA Media
Thanks to Woj for opening the podcast by introducing Manu as "future hall of famer". I've heard too many pundits say his NBA resume alone isn't good enough.
Manu is the man
Publicly, at least, Manu is such a joy in so many ways. Basketball aside, I enjoy his candor and insight.
Manu is as mortal a lock as there could ever be for the Hall of Fame as currently constituted. He's been a mortal lock for the Hall of Fame basically since he won Gold in Athens in the Dream Team era. His NBA resume is certainly good enough to support induction (he's -- statistically and resume-wise -- remarkably similar to Dennis Johnson, for instance), but when his time comes, the International Direct-Elect Committee won't take long to elect him on its first ballot.
Great podcast to start the day, thanks OP!
catch that at the end there? When he mentions Matty as one of the guys he enjoys still being around with
I gave it a listen; I came away with the impression that Pop mismanaged Manu the first couple years of his NBA career.
Manu Ginobili Forever
Solid, thanks for posting :tu
The respect and love that these guys have for each other and for their coach is unique in sports today.
this was great. i love manu so much :cry
"Manu give me a second to talk about meundies." :deadhorse
Great Great podcast. Thank you for posting. Man MANU is such a humble guy. Its a privileged to watch him play, read about and listen to his interview.
:worthy: MANU
Great interview
Manu is the most articulate Spur even while being a foreigner..great story telling skills..surprised he hasn't been yet on other high profile podcasts (Simmons, Lowe) but obviously Woj has to out-exclusive everybody..
Just hope that the team has something close to chip on the shoulder they had for the Heat when they face the Warriors..Stop drooling over these fuckers and take it personally..
^
meanwhile in 2016...Manu " I don't know how to beat the Warriors.."...Pop:" i enjoy watching the Warriors...":bang
Nice interview. I guess we all know now he's not going to be working for the Spurs after he retires.
thanks for sharing, great interview
No homo, but I could listen to Manu talk for hours. Guy is so articulate and frank when it comes to his craft and life in general. Sharp as a tack, too.
Great interview. Thanks for posting, OP!

His monster dunk with vengeance in 2014 NBA final says it all....
Heard the podcast this morning. Manu is freaking awesome. Kinda took me back to a Jim Rome show in which Manu was a guest. All I remember is how gracious he was in that interview and how some idiots made fun of his accent. That explains how f'd up recent generations are. Gonna miss the most popular Spur ever when he's gone.

great podcast, just finished listening to it. love how articulate manu is. wonder what kind of career he'll have after he retires...
The best part is when WOJ said "Manu, give me a minute to talk to u about.....xx Undies"
