That is absolute horseshit and you know it. The Spurs have always been selective with who they try and bring in. While I don't doubt they have entertained scenarios, for the sake of due diligence, they do not bring in known Low BBIQ headcases.
Howard is an injury prone, low BBIQ headcase who couldn't comprehend Pop's defense much less spell BBIQ.

No fucking way. Biggest team cancer in the league.

Re: Jabari Young: OUT with the Duncan IN with the Dwight
i give up supporting spurs if he joins us

Re: Jabari Young: OUT with the Duncan IN with the Dwight
I'd rather they just sign Bonner for another 3 years to be a starter again...yeah, it's THAT bad.

Re: Jabari Young: OUT with the Duncan IN with the Dwight
Does the guy that wrote that get paid to cover the Spurs?:lol
I can't think of a worse fit in the "Spurs culture" than Howard, tbh..not to mention he isn't that good of a player anymore, at least not good enough to put up with his flaws(on and off the court)..

Jabari is a Blazers' hero tho'. Last Season he forgot to include Raymond in his NBA Awards Ballot :depressed

First off, an apology is needed to Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green.
Defensive Player of the Year award was one of the selections, and Green was completely ignored. He deserves consideration, and may just win the award though he wasn’t picked on my ballot.
When thinking of the candidates, Green’s name just slipped my mind, as Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan, Memphis center Marc Gasol, and San Antonio’s Kawhi Leonard were the selections made. Once it was discovered Green was forgotten, a change was sought but after selections are submitted, all votes are final.
Golden State wasn’t completely ignored, though, as Stephen Curry got my vote for Most Valuable Player.

Well this guy doesn't need to be a beat writer for us any more.

Re: Jabari Young: OUT with the Duncan IN with the Dwight
I don't think it'd workout, but I question fans who say they'd stop cheering the team if they signed him. It's not like he'd be the "last straw," I just don't think signing him would be a great move. It wouldn't all of a sudden change the 20+ years of being the best organization in basketball.

What else can Dwight Howard do?? Can he sing? Dance? Play the ukulele? Juggle? Drink a glass of water while standing on his head? Lick his own eyebrows? If he can, well, maybe he could find a spot in the pregame show, or somewhere around town doing promotions. No promises, but he could audition, we could take a look.

Re: Jabari Young: OUT with the Duncan IN with the Dwight
If you asked me to make a list of the top 5 guys in the league currently that I'd absolutely loathe coming to SA, Dwight Howard would be #'s 1-5.

Re: Jabari Young: OUT with the Duncan IN with the Dwight
Dwight wants to be paid. Gotta pay all that damn child support to the fun babies and baby mamas. Won't go to SA where there is accountability as opposed to the Darryl Morey clown show.

I was seriously ready to jump ship had we signed Karl Malone in 2003. At least until he was no longer on the team. I wouldn't go that far for Dwight but he would seriously fuck shit up just like he does everywhere he goes.

Re: Jabari Young: OUT with the Duncan IN with the Dwight
The spurs will probably go after Brook Lopez to be honest.

Re: Jabari Young: OUT with the Duncan IN with the Dwight
Don't think Dwight's "gotten over himself." PATFO wouldn't go for it.
