Pop always talks about "getting over yourself" and it's time he practices what he preaches. If he's truly gotten over himself, he'll shelve the shtick and let the players decide. They've earned the right to determine whether it's important enough to play and despite what they say publicly, I can't imagine any competitor not wanting to finish the job.
What's more, it's not like it doesn't make sense for them not to schedule wise. Clearly, the remaining three that are obvious rest games, are the Warriors/Nuggets back to back and the season finale, at the Mavericks.
