Duncan, Parker, & Manu OUT Tomorrow @ OKC; @ MEM on Monday Too

Re: Duncan, Parker, & Manu OUT Tomorrow @ OKC; @ MEM on Monday Too
Well, nice to see pop waving the white flag when warriors can potentially lose tonight and at utah. I'm not liking this new philosophy of lose all these games...acabo were still in second.
-
Re: Duncan, Parker, & Manu OUT Tomorrow @ OKC; @ MEM on Monday Too
Damn..those games got significantly harder. I probably would have played them till the last 5 games just to give the team more repetition.
-
Re: Duncan, Parker, & Manu OUT Tomorrow @ OKC; @ MEM on Monday Too
Possible thunder game starting lineup
LMA-West-Anderson-Green-Miller
Mills-Martin-Diaw-Boban-Simmons
Yeah, that's going to be an ugly ass game.

Probably...damn, would be nice.if the big 3 was playing. Spurs winning should help kawhi with all nba accolades
-
Re: Duncan, Parker, & Manu OUT Tomorrow @ OKC; @ MEM on Monday Too
Away at OKC second half of a back-to-back? Classic Pop 'surrender game' territory.
-
Re: Duncan, Parker, & Manu OUT Tomorrow @ OKC; @ MEM on Monday Too
Good. Fuck records, I want rings.
-
Re: Duncan, Parker, & Manu OUT Tomorrow @ OKC; @ MEM on Monday Too
I think we can still win in okc without the big 3. Changing of the tide anyway... this assumes Kawhi plays of course.

Who says we're gonna 'lose all these games'? Memphis is hardly an NBA team right now, and Dallas is starting Barea, Felton, Matthews, Lee, and Mejri tonight. I doubt the warriors are losing this one.

What records? These are both road games... Records and rings are also not mutually exclusive. That whole rhetoric is worthless.

Re: Duncan, Parker, & Manu OUT Tomorrow @ OKC; @ MEM on Monday Too
Not surprising those 3 stay behind and rest.
I am surprised Leonard isn't listed out as well. Maybe a game time decision but I expect Pop will hold him out too.
-
Re: Duncan, Parker, & Manu OUT Tomorrow @ OKC; @ MEM on Monday Too
Rest Leonard and Aldridge in OKC as well.
-
Re: Duncan, Parker, & Manu OUT Tomorrow @ OKC; @ MEM on Monday Too
I just hope Pop doesn't indulge in this rest-a-thon plan..I'm in for limiting in-game minutes but just throwing out multiple DNPs for next 11 games could have an adverse effect..The team is far from a finished project..few guys need to get their shit together before the playoffs..Tim and Manu needs to regain a rhythm..Mills/Green yet to establish a modicum of shooting consistency...Martin needs to carve out his niche within the expected playoff rotation..etc..

Exactly. To be fair, you only really need to play twice a week from here on to not get rusty..Also the first round is probably just a warm up anyway.

Agree. I can't see Kawhi playing tomorrow game.
Pop will play LMA a lot next week and rest him in the last 2-3 games of the season, too.
However, when Kawhi fully recovers from his quad-thing, I hope Pop plays him at least some minutes before the postseason, it'll be an issue if Kawhi gets too rusty once the playoffs actually start.
-
Re: Duncan, Parker, & Manu OUT Tomorrow @ OKC; @ MEM on Monday Too
Spurs should be competitive if Leonard is back for the OKC game. They also need to give Martin and Andre some run since the tough home stretch didn't give much opportunity.
I liked what I saw when LMA and Miller played together.

Re: Duncan, Parker, & Manu OUT Tomorrow @ OKC; @ MEM on Monday Too
#1 priority is health. Spurs might not be clicking as good as they should and resting before playoffs won't help that either but the whole season is over if someone sustains a serious injury. Not worth the risk. Especially for guys who are in the mid to late 30s

This.
-
Re: Duncan, Parker, & Manu OUT Tomorrow @ OKC; @ MEM on Monday Too
This will give Kmart and Miller some time to get some reps in the system
Could be very valuable down the road
These late in the season games are notorious for fluke injuries, no need to risk that

Re: Duncan, Parker, & Manu OUT Tomorrow @ OKC; @ MEM on Monday Too
Bobinator gon drop 52 on dem niggz.
-
Re: Duncan, Parker, & Manu OUT Tomorrow @ OKC; @ MEM on Monday Too
We can still win if Kawhi plays. Memphis game should not even be a question
-
Re: Duncan, Parker, & Manu OUT Tomorrow @ OKC; @ MEM on Monday Too
we're going to miss Manu, tbh... carried us to victory tonight
-
Re: Duncan, Parker, & Manu OUT Tomorrow @ OKC; @ MEM on Monday Too
Monday's game is surprising for Manu, but probably more about getting other guys playing time. Manu missed a month already, so he's probably somewhat rested still
-
Re: Duncan, Parker, & Manu OUT Tomorrow @ OKC; @ MEM on Monday Too
We are the 2. Any other year it's a 1 but this year it's a 2. Bring on the playoffs..

Yeah, pretty upset about this... if we bow out in the WCF due to not having HCA, I'll join ISIS.

Love Manu but he's playing like his teammates are in their 20's...That bad pass to Miller, the strange quasi-lob to LMA, our guys aren't at their athletic peak anymore, Manu!
-
Re: Duncan, Parker, & Manu OUT Tomorrow @ OKC; @ MEM on Monday Too
Is Leonard playing tomorrow? Only hope to beat the meth fags tbh
-
Re: Duncan, Parker, & Manu OUT Tomorrow @ OKC; @ MEM on Monday Too
First losing streak of the season...

Just want guys to stay healthy.

Not sure if you're serious...:lol I already love his creativity, he's the most talented playmaker on this team, but Miller's 40 years old, Manu can't throw him that pass and expects Miller to be able to successfully catch the ball...:lol
-
Re: Duncan, Parker, & Manu OUT Tomorrow @ OKC; @ MEM on Monday Too
especially looking forward to the next two games since no parker. hopefully kawhi's good to go...
-
Re: Duncan, Parker, & Manu OUT Tomorrow @ OKC; @ MEM on Monday Too
Let the Warriors continue to compete against history and chase records in basically what amounts to meaningless games. I honestly hope they get the record for most wins. It's going to add even more pressure for them to repeat. It's going to be interesting to watch the next Spurs game against the Warriors, which could very well be for the record. Boban, Miller, Martin, Bonner, Anderson versus Curry, Thompson, Green, Barnes and Bogut.

We're a lock for 2 seed, I don't care about breaking our regular season record. Just want the team healthy for a good playoffs run.
Also, Memphis wasn't a road game it was a home game. If we lost and didn't get the 41-0 record I wouldn't have cared at all either.

Wow looks like the big 5 are all out tomorrow. Yikes no MVParker, KingSlayer, LMAlpha, Timmay, or Gino. Don't like our chances tomorrow, and our point differential might take a hit.

Its really too early to be resting, but I'm guessing Pop figured this was going to be a loss anyway.
-
Re: Duncan, Parker, & Manu OUT Tomorrow @ OKC; @ MEM on Monday Too
Just glad Pop didn't pull this crap tonight. I figure the team cares about the home record and Pop will tank rest the rest of the games
-
Re: Duncan, Parker, & Manu OUT Tomorrow @ OKC; @ MEM on Monday Too
It's not a bad move to hand OKC the win Saturday to keep the Clippers in Golden State's side of the bracket. They have played Golden State really well this year and should give them more of a challenge than OKC, especially if Griffin is playing.

Played them well? That's arguable because the Warriors swept the Clippers this season. OKC is the one who played the Warriors well even though they got swept too because at least they went to OT.

Clippers had double digit leads in 2 of the games but choked at the end. They have a better chance of knocking them off then OKC. OKC can't guard Steph at all.

This is going to be scary but Pop criticized our defense. Hopefully guys put a better effort tomorrow. I don't expect us to win, but I hope they manage to make it competitive for their own NBA careers respectively. We just won't have the firepower to win

I think since Kawhi got injured Pop decided to get the scheduled rest earlier than he otherwise might have.

You forgetting Blake isn't playing for helf year, without him in top form Clippers will be easy in a playoff series for the Warriors...

Manu was kind of all over in the end: One moment of sucktitude followed by a few 3s. If he doesn't make those we are in trouble. Luckily he did.
-
Re: Duncan, Parker, & Manu OUT Tomorrow @ OKC; @ MEM on Monday Too
Sounds like Pop cares about 41-0 to me. Just a hunch.
