its meltdown time fellas
:lmao this fucking team is done
They have no leader. Even Ferrari Bellinelli would be the guy with biggest balls for the spurs tonight
Sure Duncan and Parker are great and have balls but they are in their 40s
This team has no superstar leaders
Kawhi is but a role player and Lamar is a choker
We will be lucky to get to the Western Finals.IMO

At least I wont have my hopes up this playoffs :lol

Kawhi needs to man the fuck up dudes not a young kid anymore shit at 25 he should be slaying people

More like acceptance time.
I ain't even mad. The Spurs just lack the perimeter talent and mental fortitude to deal with the Warriors.

if we didn't have LMA, that would be true tbh. even he i'm afraid can't carry a career playoff choker all the way :bang

Oh btw the warriors also snapped their 0-33 streak in San Antonio
This is epic.

Re: its meltdown time fellas
Is there anyone in the league who can stop them tbh? True they made us look like garbage tonight, but would any other team do that much better against them? Only way you can slow Curry down is to bang him up.

The grizzlies without half their team did better than us just last night :lmao

Meh. Diaw changes the offense when he's playing. His ability to pass, dribble and shoot makes huge difference

No Duncan. No Diaw. Aldridge has shooting hand injury. So we had like 0.75/3 for our top 3 bigs tonight. Last game vs them was no Diaw and freshly hurt Aldridge and on the road. We've literally never fielded an entire team vs them for a full game aside from the one win we had.
That said, our perimeter scoring was pathetic tonight in all forms. Absolutely ice old and unreliable. The only guy shitting on them was our injured big.

By the time were in the WCF, everybody will be all pumped and rightfully so and will forget this feeling.
I'm sorry but come April 16, this game means nothing. The game in March doesn't mean anything. Our loss to the cavs won't mean anything. We put ourselves in position to be the 2nd seed in the playoffs and on April 16, everyone is 0-0

Re: its meltdown time fellas
There's a lot that needs to change. It's not just one or two players. This team needs to ship out and bring in fresh blood.

No meltdown. Warriors dismantled the Spurs psyche two games ago. Coaches and players.
I'll still give the Spurs a Lloyd Christmas chance against them in the playoffs.

Re: its meltdown time fellas
Meh, not that important of a game, tbh. We all know we are the underdogs against this team.
Things to take from this game:
-we can definitely set our tempo. That helps.
-our scrubs need to stop shitting the bed against this team.
Losses are better learning experiences than wins. Hopefully the coaching staff takes some important notes from these two losses and the players realize they need to stop playing like scared little bitches if they want to have a puncher's chance.

Pretty much playing the Warriors twice in the last week of the season was not good for the psyches of the majority of spur fans. Too much cliff jumping after these two losses. I feel if spur fans are going to have a meltdown save it for when the Spurs are potentially facing elimination not over a fucking regular season game.

I think hater is one step away from checking himself into a mental clinic lol
But for all those who are sane and know what's going on, we know that the Spurs didn't care about this game, at least when Pop decided to start Kevin Martin, Kyle Anderson, and Boban in the 4th quarter

:lmao methinks you need mental care ASAP
We didn't care? That's why we threw the game on purpose right? If we cared we would have easily beat them right? So we didn't care 3 out of the 4 times we played them. Got it :lmao

Yes, the Spurs did NOT care to win 3 out of the 4 times they played this season. Do yourself a favor, and Youtube highlights of the offensive and defensive sets the Spurs played during the game where they beat the Warriors (pay close attention), and take a look at the offensive and defensive sets of the other 3 games they lost. It should be a testament to just how much the Spurs are hiding from the Warriors.

Hey we got a title that way in 2007! No way we win that year if GS doesn't do us a solid against the Mavs. If someone does manage to take out the Dubs the path is pretty much clear for us.

I don't buy that at all. That Mavs team was showing cracks by the end of the season and Duncan was a lot healthier in 07 than 06.

I'll say this, The Clipps will not go down without calling out all the bs the Warriors get away with. Doc with make sure the media hears about, and Paul will make the the refs hear about and see it on the court. They don't have the gentelmens approach Pop and the Spurs have.
Doesn't mean they'll win, but it's gonna be an interesting series.

Hadn't thought about this. Clippers have made a strategy out of whining, flopping and manipulating refs.
I might actually watch that series and see if chaos is created :lol
-
Re: its meltdown time fellas
A clippers spurs wcf would be more compelling than warriors anyone. It would be the same grudge match and end up with a better finals.
Warriors are just to likely to blow out everyone. Here's to Adam Silver looking out for the league

And the NBA will fine Doc and won't do nothing regarding his complaints. Don't you saw yesterdays refs' L2MR?

Why the hell would you want to play anybody at full strength, let alone the Warriors, tbh?:lol
Nothing better in sports fandom than celebrating a key injury..I'll show love to Patrick Beverley forever for 2013..

Because ideally, you'd like to win a championship having to beat the best teams with their best players. If Curry was out, it would be about as big an asterisk as you could have. But now, I'm OK with it.
Earlier in the season, I liked the Spurs chances. After watching GSW for the remainder and the games against the Spurs and the rest of the Spurs season...not so much.
I haven't given up on the Spurs. But they're a big underdog and are going to have to play some almost perfect basketball to beat GSW in 4 out of 7.

I thought the problem was lack of playmaking out of the post due to no Duncan or Diaw (underrated aspect of SA's power), and ice cold perimeter scoring (possibly influenced by lack of aforementioned post playmaking). LMA got his, yes, but Duncan and Diaw do a lot of stuff that isn't always reflected in the stat sheet that helps us take home wins. LMA is just okay when it comes to helping facilitate for others imo.

Re: its meltdown time fellas
Has anyone considered the scenario in which any of Warriors/Spurs that gets to the finals gets there all injured and worn down, so that when Lebron finishes his annual parade through the east he faces a weakened team, wins, and poses for a lot of pictures bragging about his greatness?
