Good. Thanks for asking.
I fell asleep. Work up with a 30 point lead.
My experience? Very rested.
Live play-by-play on my phone unfortunately, I was busy all day. I was about to actually watch the recording on my DVR right now. :eyebrows
I had a Totino's Party Pizza and a handful of Cookie Crisp.
It would have been better of Cavs lost.
Very disappointed to see the offense come out so flat in the first half. Was really hoping to see the practice pay off. Was very happy with the defense, but overall the first half had me concerned (not about the series, but future series(s)). However, second half was a lot of fun and built confidence for me and I suspect the team as well.
1st Q = glad we won but not happy with our play
2nd Q = psssh. Big deal, we beat Memphis
3rd Q = I had multiple orgasms
4th Q = expected, Memphis is hurting
I rubbed one of at the half. Good game.
My Kawrection was the gift that kept on giving.
Beer and a Spurs win, so no complaints.
I had a good time.
We win!
Not much of a test for us, but since some guys needed to get in rhythm it's just as well.
:flag:
Had a coffee stout I never had before that was pretty terrible tbh
I want to see the three point shot falling. So, decent enough in that regard.
Was too busy and didn't watch it. Was gonna watch it when I got home and tried all day not to check the scores... unfortunately I did and saw we won by 30 lol. I might watch it in bits and pieces during the night. A quick recap of what I just watched prior to writing this...
10.30 remaining in the 1st quarter, what was Tony thinking on that drive? He can't spaz out like that against good teams
8.58 to go in the 1st and Parker gets blocked by VC.
7.58 a wild turnover by TP.
I'm not purposely ripping TP but I literally just watched the first 4 minutes and saw him fuck up 3 times.
Fantastic. Slept like a baby. Probably wont get up for night games in 1st round.
Last minute impulse trip to the AT&T Center. Had great seats and enjoyed seeing the level of defense and Kawhi wreaking so much havoc.
Felt great to be in the arena at the start of this post season.
I think there is a very good chance that we go beyond the 1st round this year...
Pretty much per par. Hard to get excited or nervous for.... Just want to see the team click.
Saw live. The first half had me concerned, then we closed it well. Great second half! Left feeling good!
You are not over reacting. TP sucked major balls and it was Clippers deja vu.
We overcame injured Memphis but you are correct, this chit cannot be tolerated in R2 and R3.
Also, our perimeter D sucked (TP and Patty are getting fried on treys) and this will also require an ad-just-ment.
So let's hope that happens. :pop:
It's nice to see Parker pick it up a little. Nice to have no stress for a round of the playoffs. Gives us fans the best we need going into the next two rounds of pure stress!
Followed play by play on my phone while getting drunk and stoned at a friend's Malibu cliffside beach house.
It was good to watch the Spurs easing their way into the playoffs and ultimately dominating.
The Manu to Duncan runout was the best play of the year, tbh. Rewound and watched it about ten times.
I watched up until the middle of the third quarter, and then I went home (watched at a friend's house). I was falling asleep. Went to bed before the game was over, and was pleasantly surprised that we won by so much.
It was mostly a tale of two halves - as anyone with eyes would tell you. The Spurs came out flat and couldn't hit a shot. Near the end of the 1st half TP got going (finally) and grew the lead to 11 from 5. 3rd quarter they put it away.
Thank goodness the Spurs are facing the beat up Grizz. This will give DG some time to find his shot. Looks like Patty may have.
Seriously? Which game were you watching? TP had a wretched first quarter, but he ended the game shooting 60% on the night with 6 assists (and was the only starter to have even one assist), and moved ahead of Nash for all-time NBA playoff assist numbers. So now he is something like 4th or 5th most assists all time in nba playoffs.
Patty shot 50% and had a couple of assists. The guy opposite TP shot 30% for the game, and I don't remember what Mills' guy shot, but the fact is that by the fourth quarter, no one was playing any defense on either side of the ball and the teams were just shooting baskets, because the game had been decided before the benches emptied.
Did you also only watch the first 4 minutes?
Am I the only one on this forum that wanted the Spurs to beat the Grizzles by more points than the Warriors beat the Rockets?

I realize Parker had some very good drives after that.
But again in the 3rd or 4th he had another forced layup with plenty of Spurs open and early in the clock. Essentially a turnover.
What I am saying is the Spurs will not be able to overcome that stuff vs OCK or Warriors if we are in a neck and neck 88-86 game. Which is entirely possible. Every possession will need to count. Overcoming the Grizzleys with 5 key players injured is one thing.
Tonys career stats do not mean squat for this year. We saw that last year vs the Clippers.
Patty, yes it was awesome seeing him fill it up again and some beautiful drives too. But must be tempered with It Was The Grizzleys.
Took a half hour nap enjoyed the win then watched the girlfriend experience.
Watched the game and ate some pot brownies. The batch was too strong and I fell asleep at halftime. I will adjust accordingly for tonight's game.
