He's why most of us non-Texas residents are Spurs fans, and he's without a doubt my 2nd favorite Spur. I've also criticized him over the years for his playoff "choking," but rethinking it, I wish I could watch his pre-Timmy playoff runs and see how he was defended and how the supporting cast played. I don't remember, but I know a lot of Spurs fans have claimed that Robinson was seeing triple teams in his matchup with Dream while Dream was only single covered.

larry brown was the ONLY DECENT coach he had til pop. Bob hill was awful and gave about zero effort in worrying about defense. He left David on an island and so did rodman. I really believe pop would have at least made that series way more competitive

Also GM wasn't Buford. I mean they let Rod Strickland walk when they had no replacement.

Hard to compare, I rate Paul pretty high on the all-time list, but his roster at the Clippers blew away anything the Admiral had.

Despite that shitty supporting cast, Robinson still had superior head-to-head record against the other elite centers. To compare DRob to CP3 is just fucking retarded.
