I am not right just yet. We would have to win game 4 by +/- 21 for my prediction to come true. I am not sure how likely that is. Spurs will surely play better. But will Grizz desperately want one win or will they already have their bags packed? That's the kicker.
I just wonder how a playoff run where his minutes are very reduced will affect Tim's offseason decision... Late last fall I was 99.99% certain that Tim would retire. Then after he rehabbed his knee and came back pretty strong, I began to lower my percentage. But I still hold to my early season thread, predicting he and Kobe would both retire this season in starkly contrasting styles - appropriately distinct endings to their very different characters and careers. These prospective retirements will make for one of the great defining contrasts in American sports history. The perfect final contrast! I even Nostradamus (to borrow your verb - :lol) that such contrast will serve to enhance Tim's stature and diminish Kobe's in the eyes of future NBA historians.

Good point. :tu
I have a feeling this is it for him that hasn't wavered for the most part, although I admit he could do another season if he wanted to with a reduced role. I just think the knee has been a real issue for him and wearing the two knee braces affected his balance so he was falling to the ground so much and unable to finish at the rim bc there is always some contact at the rim, someone is always pushing you. I suppose so long as they don't hit you it's not a foul, but there is always someone pushing you and he seemed off balance and about to fall a lot.

I mean, that sort of falls apart given I'm not on the team, despite having used "we" in the quoted post tbh

Spurs gotta make sure they take care of OKC and not keep it close.
OKC has looked very pedestrian in all of our matchups this year. We were in complete control against them even when we lost on the road, we just choked to Dion Waiters of all people. Spurs in 5.

Wouldn't shock me to see us crush MEM today in this possible elimination game. Come out and punch them in the nose, don't let up, and make them NOT want to fly back to SA again just to lose.

He's not his protege. When he was the deputy, he flat contradicted Stern on the rest issue, and now, it's no longer an issue. If he were Stern-lite, we'd still be sitting on 4. Silver is his own man.

You're in denial. Stern Jr. kept all the cheating mechanisms in place.

EVERYONE is doing moving screens. It's a league-wide problem, and they need to call it more.

Come on now. There's what everyone does and what GS does. Two different things.

Re: Most 25+ point blowouts in a season including playoffs, Spurs now 2nd with 17
No Surprise that a team with the 2nd best PG of all time and the 2nd best Center, if not best, Center of all-time led this category. Amazing the Spurs did this now when teams are more balanced. It's amazing what adding 1 player of note can do for an already successful franchise/team.
