I Have A Dream/Make Spurstalk Great Again - A Sincere Message
"I have a dream today.
I have a dream that one day, all SpurFan will post on a message board where they will not spew, nor have to read, comments that contain blind hate or player propaganda.
I have a dreAm that posters will not be judged by their favorite player, but by their favorite team.
I have a dream that one day, here in San Antonio and all places populated by forum members, with its vicious, radical Parker stans and Krew members; one day right here in this forum, posters will all be treated as Spurfan alike, and it will be filled with the text, 'Go Spurs Go!'
I have a dream, a hOpe, that SpursTalk will adopt and live out the true meaning of this creed: 'We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all posters are respected equally.'
And when this happens, we will have the freedom to read, when we scroll through the forum we will no longer fear wasting our time with non-basketball discussion, we will be able to engage in 'SPURS TALK' together and say, READ AT LAST, READ AT LAST, thank GOD ALMIGHTY, we can READ AT LAST!"

7.5/10, would be higher if you'd constructed it so that the first letter of each paragraph spelled "FAGGOT" tbh

true. should've went with size 3 font also...would've made it more hidden. hindsight is 20/20, though

Re: I Have A Dream/Make Spurstalk Great Again - A Sincere Message
Trump would say "Spurstalk just doesn't win anymore they just doesn't win anymore. They get their butts kicked by real gm and reddit"

Share the sentiment, but I don't appreciate how you're basically juxtaposing Martin Luther King and Donald Trump.

Re: I Have A Dream/Make Spurstalk Great Again - A Sincere Message
There are a lot of potentially great trolls on the board--on the cusp of All-Star level really. They just need to clean up their acts a bit so it's more friendly for us who like to check in from work, and remove some of the repetition.
SAGirl and a few others drop in with some great analysis. Good takes are always hard to come by--I don't think the board has deteriorated in that regard.
What we're missing most right now are some of the great foreign fans who used to drop in when the Spurs signed someone from out of country. It's a lot of fun to hear the player back-stories.

One was a fraudulent adulterer that was himself racist. The other is a blow hard sent into the GOP on behalf of the Left to sabotage having a legit Republican in the White House.

Lets not kid ourselves, the reason we come back to Spurstalk time and time again is because these trolls do bait us into heated arguments and does in fact generate that much response and website traffic (I have not found any other forum to be more engaging).
And as much as I hate the trolls, I keep coming back when their takes are never more wrong just to prove to them that they don't know jack.
Spurstalk is the forum where the basketball team is so relevant for the past 15 years that we've collected haters from all cities and makes Spurstalk as engaging as it is today. Yet, the Spurs still keep kicking ass and taking names.
