Build a bridge, get over it.
I can't count the times I have seen coaches and players start giving themselves excuses, after a loss. They tell themselves that it's an excuse for losing a game, but it's an excuse for losing the whole series. And when they do it, you know they're already done. (Utah in the WCF, and Cleveland in the Finals leap to mind.) Pop just sent a message, and it wasn't that he thinks he needs an excuse for why the Spurs will lose the series to OKC.
Steve Javie actually did a good job of breaking it down, and pointed out that the ref glanced down at the floor for a split second, to make sure the thrower-in didn't step over the line. He was doing his job, and it was unfortunate timing. That's why it's so tough to call a basketball game. If he had been looking up, and missed a guy stepping over the line, people would be bitching about that, too.
Hopefully the will have a pre-game ref meeting before the OKC games because of this, and those refs won't let the hostile crowd influence them. As long as the Spurs get evenly-called games, I am 100% confident that the Spurs will get at least a split. If Danny Green starts hitting 3's earlier in those games than he did in this one, the Spurs will be in position to close it out in SA, in Game 5.
Not one of you Nancy-boys had the balls to show up after Game 1. Enjoy this next couple of days. You'll have to find some other place to troll when this series is over.
I want to protest the damn game being on Friday. Sucks.
