Spurs are done tbh. Games 2 & 5 took their spirit.

Re: We really do not know what will happen in game 6...
It doesn't matter who wins Game 6. For me to believe the Spurs had what it took to win a Championship, they needed to beat OKC in at most 5 games. Going 6 was bad enough but if they are to win this series, it will take 7 games. I honestly don't expect a thing to change in Game 6. The Spurs will probably keep it close for a little while but then OKC's scrubs will come off the bench and start playing their asses off and it will be a frenzy.
The Spurs (Tim, Kawhi and Manu excluded) are a collection of pussies who don't know how to compete. Manu and Tim can't produce like they once did but they are Hall of Famers and get a pass due to their ages. They were and are 2 of the best players to ever suit up for San Antonio.
OKC sucks too. That's the worst part about it. Golden State moves the ball around the perimeter and actually knows how to shoot. They will crush OKC. This is setting up to be a rematch between Golden State and Cleveland. As well as Cleveland is playing, it could be very entertaining.

Yep. And Game 1 made them complacent. False confidence.

My feelings exactly. OKC has kept trying to give the Spurs games and the only time the Spurs actually accepted their gifts was Game 3.

Re: We really do not know what will happen in game 6...
It's beyond over.
Spurs will be up by 6 at the half to get our hopes up, and then the insufferable combination of Adams, Kanter, Waiters, and the refs will crush our spirit in the last 5 minutes. Again.

I don't agree. The problem is the Spurs not making game winning plays. This series, with the exception of Game 1, is so hard to watch. Every basket the Spurs get in the half court is a fucking struggle.
The biggest disappointments of the playoffs was Patty Mills' terrible play at PG and awful shooting %, Tim getting benched because of performance and LMA missing shots when they mattered most. Oh yeah - and David West being so ineffective against OKC's bigs. Just bad. I have very low expectations for Parker so his poor outings are no surprise.
I'd like to think they will come out and play for their lives in Game 6 but they won't and aren't capable. Kawhi's a stud but he isn't capable of leading this team to wins by himself. He needs help. He is a GREAT player but he needs another perimeter scorer to be his best.

There was no excuse to lose this game. None.

In before Alphabrook hits a miracle game-winning three in LVPorker's eye.

Yup.
Exactly what I was thinking. Spurs fans never get off easy. Look for us to take a sizeable lead into halftime, only to watch it slowly melt away through a combination of rigged reffing and choking our dicks off as we stand by helpless. Should make for riveting television though when Durant dry humps his mom on the court with time left on the clock just like in 2012.

Re: We really do not know what will happen in game 6...
People need to relax here, Spurs need to show now who is the better team. There have been 2 close games this series that went in favor of the Thunder, games 2 and 5. So if the Spurs have no fight and lose game 6 in OKC it's over, but those 2 games are the reason the Spurs are facing elimination on Thursday. Win game 6 in OKC and the momentum shifts in favor of the Spurs since game 7 will be in San Antonio. So if Spurs can't win game 6, OKC was the better team this series fair and square.

Re: We really do not know what will happen in game 6...
Yeah we won't win. Even if we did, we have to win again and Thunder aren't afraid of being in SA. They've won more there than we have.

OKC is a collection of whining dirtbags looking to deliver cheap shots on key players because they know refs won't whistle everything. Too many Spurs being relied upon are over the hill (including Tony Parker).

Re: We really do not know what will happen in game 6...
If the Spurs regain their composure, OKC is STILL fully capable of screwing this up. You saw the rash of TOs - stupid players are on that Supersonics squad going back to OKC.
I would not bet on this happening given the current state of NBA officiating, but stranger things have happened.

The OKC stars are hard to take with their diva personalities (WC more that Durant) - but they both have a bitch component to their make-up that is really annoying.

Re: We really do not know what will happen in game 6...
The Spurs can do it. They can pull out Game 6, and end this for good on Sunday.

Re: We really do not know what will happen in game 6...
Spurs record is 2-10 on the road when facing elimination under Pop. There's a preview of coming attractions.
