Why? He is going to be in a suit the entire season again :lol. From what I've heard & seen he is a pretty cheap guy, so I bet he is doing it for a check and getting the best seat in the house and travel. I can't blame him though. Hopefully the Spurs aren't stupid enough to bring him back. Though they were last year after seeing he was done in the 2014-2015 season.Quote:

He is 36 years old, played only 30 games this season and averaged 6.9 minutes. He didn't even play in the playoffs this year. Seriously, what's the point? Keeping or getting rid of Bonner isn't going to win or lose you a championship. It's simply time to move on.

I don't want Bonner on the roster as much as the next guy, but he's far from someone who just wants a paycheck. Even with his minimum salary over the last few seasons I'm sure he still has plenty of money. If he's not the cheapest SOB in the league he's damn close.Quote:
