I'd give those spots to Kawhi, Klay, Kyrie, Conley, and one more big, either Drummond or Denadre and call it a day.

Kawhi Leonard is not expected to play for the United States in the 2016 Olympics.
Leonard is the reigning two-time Defensive Player of the Year and finished second in MVP voting.
The United States has considerable depth at forward in Paul George, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green and Jimmy Butler.
Just got a breaking news alert on my phone from ESPN that says:
Quote:
Kawhi Leonard will not accept invite to play on Team USA in this summer's Olympics, sources tell Jeff Goodman
This the 3rd time he's turned them down? Second at least. Even with Pop coaching next time they probably won't ask him again.
Bummer news even if understandable.
Damn, I was hoping to see him play for the gold this summer. Oh well, I understand why he isn't. Hope he does in 2020 though
I agree. This was a no brainier with his girlfriend pregnant. I'm just surprised it took this long for him to decline when all reports had him as a lock as earliest as this morning.
I'm just bummed for him and the timing when he's been invited. He's had to turn them down. He's mentioned numerous times he wants to play and the honor it would be. I hope for his sake they ask him for 2020 but won't be surprised if they don't even bother.
damn, was really looking forward to watching him play.
at least he won't get hurt playing... and that zika shit is no joke.
Great news
Can't say I blame him, I wouldn't want to go either.
I'd honestly love to see him play, just because most guys who play the olympics tend to come back the following season as better players. But can't argue with not wanting to go down that cesspool in Rio.
