I will use my first head-banging emoji if the Spurs do that. My idea of a mini-tank is exactly what GSH posted in another thread. Sign some young eurostashes and SL guy - maybe Stokes - play our butts off and see what happens. Next season we would have "natural" cap space without having to sacrifice.

This just hurts the NBA brand imo. This Warriors team if they stay injury free has a chance to be even better than last season. If you have one dominant team and every other team playing catch up it's just not fun. Durant should have stayed with OKC, but he chose the easy way out. Spurs need to sign Gasol badly to even compete with this Warriors team now since there is no more OKC to deal with.

On the plus side if Dallas gets Harry B. and Bogut then they probably won't go after Boban, that sounds like something they would do.

I don't get it. This seems like a bad signing to me, there's only one ball how many good players can you have on one team?

If I was good at photoshopping etc I would put Durants face on a still photo of the lion from the Wizard of Oz where they are skipping along...what a coward.

This is going to go bad for GS. They can't sign Barnes, Durant, Curry, Thompson and Green. Look for bad chemistry and no inside game.

They are now a super offensive team but they have zero interior defenders with Bogut and Ezeli out. Come playoff time I just don't believe they can get away with playing small ball for a full 48 minutes.

OKC is done. One less team in the west to worry about. It now is between the dubs and the Spurs. The Dubs are going to implode and it will be hilarious. They will either over pass trying to prove their a team or become chuck city as everyone tries to prove their the man.

It doesn't hurt the NBA's brand at all. People have been talking about free agency for a month, now they'll be talking all summer about the Warriors with KD, and then everybody will be hate-watching the Dubs and rooting for them to fail. The league office is probably popping champagne right now at the windfall profits they just made.

The only thing this hurts is Durbeta's fraud legacy. He went from a superstar to an overrated role player in the eyes of the casual fan overnight.
