Re: Forever 21.. What's You Favorite Timmy Memory?
I forgot which post season it was. He was walking to the forum for the press conference and he tripped going up. He pretended to take a practice shot.
Also, on another post season, the journalists were telling their names and press affiliation before they could ask a question and Tim Duncan said, "Tim Duncan, San Antonio Spurs."
Also in one interview, the interviewer, I forgot which one, asked him how important the win was and he answered, "Very important," and that was it.
We love Tim Duncan to the moon and back!!!

I have to say, that shot of Tim pointing skyward after being eliminated by OKC, with the fans cheering for him was amazing despite the Spurs being booted out. It just screams defiance, that he left everything he had out on the floor, for what would be his last game ever, and that exit is how a winner should be seen exiting his final game.
Re: Forever 21.. What's You Favorite Timmy Memory?
I've always been shy to talk about the moment I met Tim Duncan, but here it is. I was at the HEB in Leon Springs and I saw him with Amy and his children. I was always shy to talk to people, but I walked right up to him and said, "Excuse me." He turned around and looked a little annoyed, but I'll never forget what I told him. I said genuinely, "I just wanted to say that the way you played the game has been an inspiration to my life." He looked at me and said sincerely, "Thanks, I appreciate that." Then I walked off. Ever since then, I've been a little bit more brave so to speak. But it meant a lot to me.

as much as people are talking up his game 7 vs detroit, i thoroughly remember feeling manu absolutely deserved F-MVP when they were going to make the announcement post game.
1 - 2003 lakers game 6
2 - 2003 nets game 6... that comeback and all the big shots made by him or a result of furious double teams
3 - we'll do it this time
Ya schooling shaq in 03 playoffs would be my most vivid memory of him.
