There are many things in this fatally flawed agreement that should give anyone pause. But one specific point illustrates the negative effect on US jobs.... Lowering the domestic content of automobiles to 45% (currently 62.5%) will cost workers as corporations move more manufacturing overseas to take advantage of the disastrously lower wage floors.
Another point that really bothers me is the restriction on generic drugs and patent term extensions and patents on new uses of old medicines. This is a virtual death warrant to poorer nations.
