She is fortunate that Obama is still fairly popular. She literally clung on to Obama's coattail and didn't let go since the primaries. If Obama were going out with a Bush 20 something percentage rating I think she loses to whoever the nominee would had been. Obama low rating plus her baggage, the Dem party wouldn't had had any choice but to nominate Bernie if they wanted any chance to secure the White House in that scenario.
