Re: 30 shots for one player is not the Spurs way
He's a top 3 player in his early prime and can score from everywhere. Why not take 30 shots? But I agree the offense needs to flow better.

Re: 30 shots for one player is not the Spurs way
This is what happens when your star has the playmaking skills of a small forward from the 1950s
-
Re: 30 shots for one player is not the Spurs way
Meh, if scrub ass parker was allowed to chuck then so should kawhi.
-
Re: 30 shots for one player is not the Spurs way
Yeah, more shots by LMA, Pau, Danny, Manu, Patty, is what the Spurs needed.

30 shots but only 1 assist in forty minutes...Spurs already at league average in assist ratio and dropping. First time outside the top 10 in thirteen seasons :bang

30 shots? What a troll, look at the boxscore before to make a thread of a lie

5-15...
Except for the game in Oakland, LMA has been horrible all season. Not sure what happened with him...
And it's not just his offense, there is no effort...Tonight only 5 rebounds and 3 TO.
Manu 1-7...
What the Spurs really need is someone who can score and help Kawhi...

Tough to get in rhythm when the guy hogging the ball isn't passing...

Re: 30 shots for one player is not the Spurs way
Shitty interior defense isn't either.
Where was dedmon, he should start

LMA had the same or more shots than Kawhi against Pels and Jazz in the home game and still scored less.
If you can't admit he has been awful...5 rebounds and 3 TO for a big man???

Why pay Pau 15 million if he's only playing 13 minutes and taking a couple of shots?
-
Re: 30 shots for one player is not the Spurs way
Dedmon only 4 minutes by the way and he was a -10 in that stretch... what happened with him I don't know.. I took notes for when I do grades, it will have to be tomorrow ...

Because he apparently sucks, I believe he cost us the game today. He is playing really bad right now. He might be the odd man out when Tony returns.

Because he can't stay on the floor, the Spurs are -15 when he's on

I know it was an ironic statement. The Spurs need to look into trades ...

Noticed same thing, and defense was awful in the first half and tightened up in second when he didn't see the floor. Seems like a one off event as he's been a much better defender than the other bigs. Lee has surprised me, though
-
Re: 30 shots for one player is not the Spurs way
The roster is awful. He probably needs to take 50 shots jist to win. Greenn needs to start hitting his open threes. Anderson, Simmons, Lapro, Bertans all playing legit minutes.
That's going to hurt.
-
Re: 30 shots for one player is not the Spurs way
Kawhi has a crap team. That's what happens.

yes.. I heard a great coach once tell his players that there needs to be 5 passes before shot is taken... I love KL... he's just not that kind of player...
-
Re: 30 shots for one player is not the Spurs way
Let's just ask Kawhordan not to shoot. :lol
Let's have more Pau LMA Dedmon Manu Porker shoot more. :lmao
-
Re: 30 shots for one player is not the Spurs way
Loss is on the team defense. Offense wasn't a problem.
-
Re: 30 shots for one player is not the Spurs way
Spurs not named Kawhi shot 3 of 17 from deep. But, by all means, pass that rock. :lol
-
Re: 30 shots for one player is not the Spurs way
Wasnt Kobe training Leonard in the offseason :lol

Re: 30 shots for one player is not the Spurs way
The more shots he takes, the easier it is for the others to get cold and out of rhythm, not to mention making the teammates angry, but that depends.
I realize it's not the best roster he could have, but no one can score 100 pts.

Yes but tell me when did we every have all world players on this team other than Duncan? Problem is, we lost our ball movement. We have decent enough players that we don't need Kawhi going full Kobe.

They got some good ball movement in the 4th and almost came back--but their shooting was still terrible, missing some ducks, and they got some bad breaks. That's the way the ball bounces when you are not in sync.
