Re: Kawhi Leonard Announced As All-Star Game Starter
What's with the DeRozan hate on this site? Dude's having a helluva season and deserves to be an All-Star starter. He's been Toronto's best player all season. Averaging 28 pts, 5 boards, and 4 assists on 48% shooting and a 25 PER.

It looks to me like the last time the eventual MVP wasn't a starter in the ASG was 2004-05, when Steve Nash was the MVP, but Kobe and McGrady were the starting guards for the West in the ASG.
(to be picky, Karl Malone ended up stealing Tim's 1999 MVP, but wasn't an ASG starter, though only because there wasn't a game that year).

He has not been their best player. Lowry has. Demar has been solid though even if his impact doesn't match is box score.

Cousins is on one of the worst teams in the League, far worse than the Bucks, but you want him in?

Jordan Howenstine @AirlessJordan
Kawhi Leonard has been selected an NBA All-Star starter for the 2nd straight year. Fifth Spur ever to start more than one All-Star game.
