Love to see Kawhi there. Since Ice to David to Tim...to Kawhi.
And we're all so lucky to witness the process :flag:

I wouldn't have had an issue if Westbrook were voted in, but I'm not going to pretend his overrated, stat chasing/padding ass got screwed.
How many triple doubles could James, particularly in his prime, have amassed, had he been chasing it? How many more meaningless regular season points could him, Paul, Duncan, etc., have amassed, had they been concerned with it? Counting stats are meaningless if they aren't amassed organically.
As far as the overall voting, I actually like the way they did it this year, so that the notion that the "players know best" can be put to rest. I know a bunch messed around, but of the ones who took it seriously, look at their selections. The same goes for a lot of the media.
Sure, the actual game is irrelevant, but the selection isn't. It means a lot to most players and it becomes part of their resume. Not that it decides whether someone makes the Hall-of-Fame or not, but it gets referenced when discussing players candidacy, especially fringe ones, so it should be left in the hands of front office executives and coaches.

:lma I hope he gets a reserve spot. But if he get snubbed, I hope he uses that as motivation to go into beastmode in the playoffs.

The player voting is almost the same as the media. They're basically just basing their opinions on what they hear from TV :lol

Same thing can be said about Draymond. The media loves Draymond while the players hate him.

It's not just one match up, he outplayed him in BOTH matchups this season & Choke-P also ducked one game where WestBrick had a triple double in 3 quarters. He also destroyed Choke-P last season when he had the first 25 point/20 assist triple double in 20 years.

Game 5 of the 2014 second rd series was the game w/ the highest stake of the WestBrick/Choke-P matchup, let's examine who organically amassed counting stats in a meaningful game:

The Cripples have been competitive w/o Choke-P & Blake, thrown in a HEALTHY Blake & you can't make a case for Choke-P being the MVP when Blake had the BEST on/off number on the team. Meanwhile WestBrick is on pace to shatter the all-time VORP/BPM record set by Jordan/LeBron & the team is absolute shyt w/o him.
Besides, Doc had Moute guarding WestBrick b/c Choke-P doesn't want any part of him but he's supposedly the best defender at his position:lmao
Choke-P is cute when he's running a PnR w/ DeAndre or Blake while ReDick is on the strong side occupying the help defender otherwise he can't get to the rim & his old ass would Mike Conley status if you put him on OKC.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the Zaza love from the Fans. Was that trolling? Stupidity? The guy has been one of the dirtier players in the league ever since he entered it. And he is not exactly a stud as a basketball player on NBA terms. So is that what casual fans want to see? Or is just a whole lot of fans trying to be "funny" in voting for the least deserving S5 guy on the best team?
I get that it doesn't matter, but seriously? Pachulia??

Georgia votes and the fact that he plays for the Warriors now. The top 6 Warriors made the top 10 in votes for their positions.
