I'm glad Murray's showing promise so soon. Hopefully it translates to us not overpaying for Mills this summer.

Harlem is a troll and the race shtick is one of his many shticks he uses to troll.

Murray is going to add swag and attitude to this team, but it will still need to be tempered by the overall culture of humility.
Won't be the last time Pop pulls him when no one else is ready for him to come out.
Re: If Murray didn't jaw at Irving...
There was definitely a lot of talking from Murray. First with with Riggens , with Irving (which I missed) & then with POP on the offensive end. Not sure what it was about. Therewas a bit of finger pointing . After the Pop convo, he was benched for good.
Sad really, because this the coach that preaches getting over yourselfs. Seems like a one way street to most observers. Murray was showing fire, scoring with ease on dribble penetration & the pull up jumper.
Maybe not closed but he should of seen more mins in the 4th.
Re: If Murray didn't jaw at Irving...
After watching a replay of the game, I don't think Pop was punishing Murray. I mean, Murray played in the fourth and had stopped scoring and was basically dribbling up and passing and then going to the weak side for the entire play. I think bringing Mills in was about the timing of the game and Mills' ability to shoot and spread the court a little more. And of course, in overtime, he was going to stick with Mills for his shooting and experience. It was clear that Mills was always going to close out the 4th and he came in midway through the 4th, so that's more of a natural substitution pattern that I would expect.

Interesting how Spurs rookies are all jumping into fights!

Clown. Glad you popped your head up, my friend. Glad to see you around.
Seriously, though, I guess Pop decided to trust Dejounte in crunch time against the Raptors.
