Good point. The way to offset that is a :lobt: for :lma. :flag:

Re: GSW have 4 All-Stars but SA only has 1?
If Pop was on the ballot he'd win every year but he's not. Pop gets the credit for the team's success, and Kawhi is the best player on the team. In GS, the team gets credit and Steve is there trying to ride the whirlwind.

GSW have 4 All-Stars but SA only has 1?
I guess it means GS is 4X better than the Spurs

Re: GSW have 4 All-Stars but SA only has 1?
If it leads to him playing like LMAlpha in the playoffs, it's worth it.

Re: GSW have 4 All-Stars but SA only has 1?
there isn't some formula regarding your place in the standings vs how many players ur supposed to get
aldridge had a hot streak in late december/early january... but has been kinda meh other than that. green has easily been better. klay is a bigger question mark, but its still arguable

Not unless Kool intentionally misspells certain words every time as Kool but not once as Benoit.

Re: GSW have 4 All-Stars but SA only has 1?
A team could feasibly have the 3rd best in the league at every position and have no one in the AS game, yet win a championship with that level of talent.

I know Donkey is a solid playmaker but 10.8 PPG on 44.8/32.2/66.7 shooting is pretty meh too.

yeah but on a team that has durant, curry, klay, is PPG really the measure for a 4th scoring option? he's been as good as ever defensively and is the best facilitator on a well oiled machine
i know its trendy on ST to shit on draymond, but he's a unique talent and hasn't dropped off (outside of his 3 point shot)

On February 2, the NBA announced the All-Star reserves. Frontcourt players making the Western Conference team over Aldridge were Dirk Nowitzski, Pau Gasol, Blake Griffin and Tim Duncan. Kevin Love also made the team as an injury replacement for Yao Ming.
All five selections are understandable. Nowitzski and Gasol are no-brainers, Griffin and Love have averages better than 21 points and 12 rebounds, and Duncan, despite career-low numbers is representing the Spurs, who have the NBA's best record.
How has Aldridge responding to the snubbing? Well, including his 36-point performance in a 105-100 win over the Detroit Pistons, he's averaging 29.8 points, 8.4 rebounds and 1.8 blocks, while shooting 56.3 percent from the floor.

He's never been a scorer, I get that but those percentages are pretty shitty. I also think it's a stretch to say he's the best facilitator on that team even though he's obviously solid in that area. I know he leads them in assists but he's not putting pressure on offenses the way Steph or KD do, tbh.

Can't wait for LMAlpha to take it out on Donkey, tbh.

Frankly I am not in the let's critizice Pop train, but he is bolstering his chances.
They likely pick someone else bc of voter fatigue. I have no idea who is deserving currently.

Yeah he was rolling, then Pop sat him and he's been meh every since he had those days off.

Re: GSW have 4 All-Stars but SA only has 1?
Just another reason to fuck up the Warriors come May.

Re: GSW have 4 All-Stars but SA only has 1?
Well... Pop did tell Kawhi he was the Big 1...
Pop may know some things.

Re: GSW have 4 All-Stars but SA only has 1?
Klay Thompson is literally worse than CJ McCollum in every stat (raw or advanced) besides rebounds per game..... where he beats CJ by 0.3rebs :lmao
Anyone can be a coach nowadays in Today's NBA. That's why only 4-5 coaches stick

Re: GSW have 4 All-Stars but SA only has 1?
Raymond Green averaging 10/8/7 on 44FG% :lmao
..... an "automatic" allstar according to the TNT crew :lmao
