Papadapolous and Flynn got the bare minimum of what they had coming. They only got slapped with one light charge because they had prime information on Trump. Otherwise, the both of them would be looking at hard time in prison.

Not perjury, that is something different, and more specific to my understanding. "Lying to the FBI" is more accurate.
