neither the statement of the affense nor the affidavit in support say anything about a preview of the contents, so you are correct there. they do show that he had knowledge of their possession of thousands of emails, though.
So was Schiff's claim accurate yes or no? If no, did Schiff's memo produce evidence of Trump/Russia collusion as promised?

Hmm. Papadopoulos wants to set up a meeting between Russians and Trump campaign.
Page visits Russia when he was part of the Trump campaign.
Nope. No possible relation!

his memo said the russians previewed the release of the emails. is that taken to mean that he was shown the emails, or told that they would release them. you're right that he ambiguously worded it. to my knowledge, there is nothing publicly available that would back the assertion that he was shown the emails. that said papa's knowledge of emails possession by russia qualifies as evidence (not proof) of collusion, imo.

Papadopolous and Page have no relation.

So right back to exactly what I said yesterday. Schiff rehashing public reports on George Papadopolous is not presenting evidence of Trump/Russia collusion.

So this is the information that you think secured the FISA warrant on Page? :rollin

Repug dirty trickster Roger Stone in contact with Pootin's puppet Assange.
June 16 meeting in Trump Tower so DJTJr could obtain Pootin's dirt on DNC/Hillary
etc, etc, etc.
Why the fuck did JeBo lie about his multiple contacts with Russians?
I'm sure Mueller / Schneiderman have even more than overwhelming circumstantial evidence.
Trash will be forced to testify before one or more Grand Juries for actions BEFORE he was Pres, just like Slick Willy.

The information they got from Australia? Yes. I do believe that was used as part of the FISA application.
There is one degree of separation between Papadopolous' request and Page's trip. This isn't rocket science. I don't know why it's so hard for you to understand.

I disagree that a Maltese academic telling Papadopolous he had dirt on Hillary Clinton qualifies as evidence of collusion between Trump and Russia to sway the election.

Why wouldn't that information be used to get a FISA warrant on Papadopolous? If Papadopolous was the guy who started the entire investigation why did the FBI wait until January 27th to bring him in for questioning?

He wasn't the guy traveling to Russia.
This isn't rocket science.
I certainly could be wrong as none of us have all the information, but since you don't have a different theory I don't consider your ankle biting to be very effective.

Re: Flynn in major trouble for speaking to Russia about sanctions
Roger Stone lied about his meeting with Assange—andthat's a lot more important than it may seem
Nunberg’s flight across the public stage, but he made no secret about the reason for his panic—
he was sure that Special Counsel Robert Mueller is out to get his friend and mentor Roger Stone.
While Nunberg started the evening claiming that Stone had done something wrong, eventually
he let slip that Stone “might have lied.”
And it seems clear that Roger Stone did lie.
Often.
About something that actually means more than it may seem.
Stone, an informal adviser to then-candidate Donald Trump, said he had learned from WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange that his organization had obtained emails that would torment senior Democrats such as John Podesta, then campaign chairman for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
The timing on this is interesting.
The hack of Podesta’s emails itself began only in mid-March 2016.
Russian hackers were allegedly still breaking into the DNC’s network that April.
The suggestion, then, is that Stone may have known about the hacked information shortly after it was hacked —
which would raise questions about how rapidly the information was transferred from the hackers to WikiLeaks.
This more than suggests that Stone’s contact with Assange was prompted by the Trump campaign.
Which would make this particularly interesting to Mueller, and make Stone’s lies about the matter a direct cover-up of collusion within the Trump campaign.

Roger Stone did lie about his meeting with Assange because Roger Stone never had a meeting with Assange.

Papadopolous is touted as the key figure who sparked the investigation. And Papadopolous was said to have been shown the stolen emails and offered help disseminating them. Why would the FBI not want to have Papadopolous under surveillance if he had contacts that were in possession of the stolen emails? Why would the FBI wait until after the election to ask him about the stolen emails he was told about?

Looks like Trash will be (as he always does, severely hurt the other parties in his "deals"), firing McCabe to deny him $100Ks in retirement benefits, only a few days before McCabe retires this Sunday.
Is Trash a vindictive enough, small enough prick to do it? you betcha

Trump can't fire McCabe as he isn't a political appointee. McCabe fucked up and then lied to Horowitz about his fuck up. Fuck him and his retirement benefits.

These aren't rabbit holes these are questions that need to be answered to clear things up if you want to push that Papadopolous was the reason the investigation started.
