I think Bowen played a bit in the 3rd. I don't think Parker did. Iguodala didn't play in the second half either.

we lost again? :depressed .
it's nice if we win. but don't really care if the Spurs win in a pre-season game or not. kind of sad Oberto became a casualty playing just a few minutes into his first NBA game.
i hope Pops try to regulate Tim & Manu or even the tired Parker's minutes to a minimum to keep them fresh come regular season.
Lots of weird combinations. The Spurs closed within 2 points with about 6 min. left and then Melvin Sanders (who had helped lead the team back) fouled out. That left the scoring up to Sean Marks and company and that dog didn't hunt. Oh, and Jawad stinks.
Dude, it's the boutons of emoticons. :smokinQuote:

Beno played?
He's a starter -- and it's the second time this happened. So get bent and let the conspiracy live.Quote:

Pop just has to get the new guys familar with the system, knock the rust off of the regular guys and evaluate the inactive list fodder for potential unpolished gems.
Look, the Sixers didn't want to lose 2 preseason games having had a new coach and all. It's a confidence thing.Quote:

Exactly -- and if you saw how seriously Van Gundy took the last game, you'd see the trend. It's just funny, that's all.Quote:

Preseason is just for Pop to look at the new guys and for him to evaluate talent and to try to get an idea of which players play well together. It matters not if they win or lose.
