So, who plays tomorrow?
Forbes, Simmons, Anderson, Lee, Dedmon
Bertans, Anthony
Fuck, we are short of bodies. If only Murray was available Pop could make an 8 man rotation work. Now he will probably have to play one of Tony or Patty, maybe even both to not overcharge one with minutes.

They sat Gasol?
They did sit Gasol in OT, but Conley was out already with an eye injury. They play OKC tomorrow night at home and if they lose that they're locked in at the seventh seed.

:toast Looking forward to the YT highlights, especially since it looks like Kawhi went off in 2nd half.

Think only Manu, Kawhi, and LMA sit out tomorrow. Hell, if Manu's injury is nothing then he might play too.

Minus Conley and Leonard, the Spurs perimeter players are better than the Grizzlies' perimeters. Patty Mills and Tony Parker alone are better. The Grizzlies give minutes to 2 of the worst backup point guards in the league like Andrew Harrison and Wade Baldwin. Nuff said.
Spurs are better on both offense and defense.
JaMychal and Brandon Wright > Dedmon and Lee
The Spurs are the better team and should easily win this series.
Parker and Mills aren't as good as you may think. Tony Allen and Troy Daniels can give them a lot of trouble, and if Selden somehow gets minutes he'll give both fits as well.

I would sit as many bodies as possible, tbh. An injury to Gasol, for example, would be pretty devastating right now. Same with Mills.

We will broom the Grizz in the playoffs.

Other than Kawhi, LMA, Gasol, and Parker the minutes tonight for everyone weren't very high. Gasol could also use a bit more burn with the bench while Tony/Patty can split minutes since Murray is still out (if Murray is somehow back then Patty should sit).

Bill and Sean mentioned it during the game, but Fizzdale did say in response to being asked about potentially playing the Spurs again in the first round that "San Antonio, Golden State, and Houston are all monsters right now so its better to just stay where we're at and focus on playing their brand of basketball going into the postseason." Kinda sounds like they're tanking for the Spurs, but we'll see.

I'd be surprised if the Warriors don't sweep them, Nurkic or not.

Zach is 35, and puts up 18 pts and 16 RB, on the road, just like he did 10+ years ago.

his game was never based on any athleticism ... so he is able to age well and the move to the bench (playing against second units) helped him as well ... he is a SMOY candidate IMO

He single-handedly kept them in the game until some of his teammates joined the party. In the 3rd-4th quarters he killed us - especially on the O-boards. It was not all done against the second unit, either.

Yeah...I'm tired of the best out of 7. I know they'll never do it but they really should alternate locations each game. If they cut the first round to 5 games, they could at least do that.

I miss Tiago and Timmy shutting him down like in 2013. That was beautiful.

Pop will need to light a bonfire under the current bigs to keep Z-Bo from repeating this performance in the playoffs.

"his game was never based on any athleticism"
being an excellent mid-range shooter, and a tough rebounder with solid hands require athleticism. He's not a Ray Allen graceful type, but he's plenty athletic.
