I know what I said. I don't understand how you are trying to frame your argument though :lol. You even admitted you aren't surprised his numbers looked awful last playoffs :lol

Your assuming because he had a net negative rating, he was a negative player. :lol

:lol Now I know you are trolling. "I'm not an eye test guy" then quoted saying youre an eye test guy. "I'm a numbers guy" then gets told his statistics show him as a net negative and tries to argue against the numbers :lol

I just explained why your assumptions are wrong. :lol
Can anyone else tell this guy? :lol

I clearly said I'm an all encompassing guy. :lol

Re: Tony Allen out indefinitely
Tony Allen being out is good for the fact that's one less (and the best for Memphis) Kawhi defender. Considering how important Kawhi is to the Spurs' offense I'd say it helps, regardless of how bad he is offensively on paper (he's had several high scoring games against the Spurs this season alone iirc).

Tony Allen started and played all 6 games vs Spurs in 2011.

This sounds like a bit of an over-exaggeration to me. Possibly even a bit of bullshit from the Grizzlies.

Things in the NBA have changed since then. And TA was in his absoulte prime defensively where he probably outweighed his offensive deficiency then.

Re: Tony Allen out indefinitely
Memphis are old and creaky-- the best first round match-up the Spurs could've hoped for. Their 2 best players are 3rd tier stars who lack the explosiveness element in their games. Their depth is mediocre and the defense has significantly slipped from its heydays in the early years of this decade..
At this point, if this series go beyond 5 games it would be more of a reflection of our own vulnerabilities and the persistence of uninspiring basketball the team has been playing since the All Star break.

I think you're mistaken. Tiago had a vagina strain.

The Spurs need to catch some breaks. This is a good place to start.

The Spurs are acutally in a good bracket. Grizz and Hou/OKC without durant. Remember last year Westbrook was almost a non factor due to kawhi.
That's our best chances to go to the WCF. The WCF will be the real Finals.

I don't disagree. I think Memphis has/had the ability to play really physical and ugly up enough games to win the series. So I don't mind them losing Allen one bit.
I kind of like the idea of meeting the MVP in the second round, and having him put up triple doubles every game, and still lose. And I think the Spurs could beat anyone in the East, if they get that far. So, yeah, I agree with you that the WCF will be the real Finals - or at least should be.
But I'd laugh my ass off if Lillard goes crazy and beats GSW in the first round. As long as the Spurs are catching breaks, why not get a big one?

I thought about that too. Only if curry goes down do I see that. :lol

what it has to do with it is that Danny green is fuckign trash and he hasn't been able to hit open shots this season. Pointing it out doesn't mean we hate our team, it just means we got good fucking vision and have watched most of the games this season. What Tony Allen being injured have to do with it? Allen injured or not, it doesn't increase the chance of Danny Green hitting an open jumper which he hasn't consistently done in 3 seasons.
