I mean hit a fucking open shot
Shit's like watching Anthony Tolliver when he was on the team
God damnit why the fuck is that lazy mexican leaving Troy Daniels open all the time?
can't :downspin: this one at this point, tbh
Danny Green sucks too. Why can't he shoot anymore?
But yeah, :lol Manu is a total dumpsterfire
You know that Mexican won't retire willingly if they offer him 200 dollars worth of Modelo and a membership to Costco.
Man, all of our guards suck
Man I haven't seen any Spurs as shitty as 17 playoffs Manu since Green tonight.
been calling this shit since 2013
glad finally everyone realized whos the weakest link
Meanwhile Porker making heroics just to avoid a total embarrassment
Wheels finally off? the physicality of the Grizz are not a good match up for him but now it seams to be mental.
I definitely have no empathy for Manu since he decided to get overpaid this summer. He's definitely not worth any bit of his 15 mil contract so far.
He is sucking ass tonight bad defense, idiotic gambling and afraid on offense.
Was shocked he came back TBH.
If he sees minutes in game 5...
:lol
Gotta agree with the OP
$14,000,000
Hes hurt, Id be willing to bet money on it (dont offer). Just like the 2013 playoffs, in which he was also hurt, but now hes more gun shy because of that 2013 performance. So, if thats true, an adjustment needs to be made. If Manu wasnt hurt, you know he would at least attempt to take it to the hole.
But But he is a HOF because of Argentina or some shit like that..
Still got faith in the old lefty. He's just biding his time to make things more dramatic.
Spurs loss is on Ginobili, obviously.
40 year old Manu...your career ends after the last Spur game. If the Spurs lose game 5, they better give a standing ovation to that guy. He's earned, just not this year.
The thing is, in his prime, when Manu's shot wasn't falling he'd get to the rim and either score or draw the foul. That dual threat also made his drive and kick game dangerous too. He can't do that anymore, so if his shot is off, he's virtually useless on the court (in the playoffs) now. He has to stop shooting like a pussy and get some confidence in his shot.
Ahh Manu shot well during the regular season, but right now he's not even looking to shoot it and his shots are way off. That is shooting like a pussy. I stand by what I said. He has no confidence whatsoever in his shot, yet he shot well during the regular season. That's mostly mental, IMO.
Manu played 25 mins the last two games combined. That's 2 more mins than Kyle, and a very short leash, all things considered.
You can be mad at Pop for not playing Simms, that's valid, but let's not pretend that Manu has been playing an overwhelming amount of mins.
His shots are way off, though. What has that got to do with minutes? Good shooters can still hit shots regardless of minutes. He shot the ball well during the season. The difference is that the pressure is higher and he's lost confidence due to his misses being so bad on a few of those shots.
He took a grand total of 7 shots in those two games. To get an idea, Kyle took 8.
What I'm pointing out is that he's been on a very short leash already, that's what the mins illustrate.
He's not a scorer on this team, tbh, he's a playmaker that has been admittedly bad...
i still contend that manu's comments prior to the start of the playoffs set me off. the fact that he admitted to having a different mind set than he used to and that he is no longer consumed by winning just does not sit well. it basically tells us he's not going to have the same fire as some of his teammates and especially of his opponent. so now, not only do i see him struggle, i wonder to what extent he even cares.
Manu to have a Steve Kerr moment tonight!

Oh I was in on this from the start. The dude is sorry trash garbage and his play is infectious
his inconsistency and the combination of playing with Mills (another weak, undersized, physically overmatched, inconsistent guard, prone to foolishness with the basketball) kills us in tough games.
I told Lamarcus Bryant before the series you cannot find a more favorable matchup for our reserve backcourt than Memphis without tony Allen. And yet they are still both unplayable
