Re: Official 2017 Offseason Thread
Looks like RC plan is to just hope young players turn into all stars next season.

Re: Official 2017 Offseason Thread
Well, Free Agency is over for me. I wanted Paul George and somehow OKC gets him for peanuts. Spurs front office sucks (not because they didn't get Paul George, but because they're looking at average, OLD players for big money). I wanted to keep Presti back in the day. Should of fucking dumped RC Buford.
Ask for a trade, Kawhi. Get the fuck out of there. Don't even bother wasting two more years.

Sounds like his real plan is to flush Kawhi's prime down the toilet by signing 32 and 33 year old fading bench players to caproom killing deals.

Re: Official 2017 Offseason Thread
The field keeps clearing for Kawhi's MVP:toast

Can't believe they got that trade done with no assets. That's a shit tier offer.
Bird is stocking up on white people I guess. T j leaf, sabonis.

Indiana makes sense for Sobonis. Indiana = Siberia.

Re: Official 2017 Offseason Thread
Extending Pau Gasol, keeping Parker's contract and going after Igoudala or Hill while keeping a disgruntled Aldridge :lmao

Can't say you're wrong.
If Kawhi has to play next year with Pau on a long termer, 32 year old Livingston on a long termer, 34 year old iguodala on a long termer, and salty Tony Parker aging into prosciutto on the bench in street clothes ...
He should demand a trade.

Re: Official 2017 Offseason Thread
The Spurs front office is the most overrated in all of pro sports. I never said that before, but I will finally say it.
They're nothing without Tim Duncan and lucky as shit they got Manu, TP and now Kawhi (who has turned himself into a Superstar). Without Kawhi, they'd be toast.
Get out of there, Kawhi. You're going to waste two years for nothing.

How does that make sense?

Re: Official 2017 Offseason Thread
I would take Sam Amico's report with a grain of salt man. I haven't seen any legit reports of Spurs interested in Livingston. I couldve missed it of course but yea. Amico isn't Woj

Please. Mercy. I'm already crying and drinking.
I'm trying to remain hopeful that RC has something better planned than what we've been hearing.

Re: Official 2017 Offseason Thread
People here are so fickle an weak. Demanding that the sum of ALL parts of this team from owner to front office to asst coaches to head coach to every single roster spot must be a home run a+ consistent option at all times. Unreal.

Re: Official 2017 Offseason Thread
Apparently Dipo went to IU so they are mostly just trying to make their fans happy about off the court things.:lol

Re: Official 2017 Offseason Thread
So, when is the salary cap projected to go down? I'd look at signing short term big contracts. You don't want to get stuck with old guys on huge contracts if the cap goes down. It'd destroy all future flexibility.

I can't wait for them to prove this wrong :)
It ain't luck that they got anyone sans TD.

I hope he builds upon that. I'm certain that's what Pop wants. He's wanted it.
this is a whole other discussion... but Pop started him for Danny at SG? Is that what he's meant to play in this league? I don't think so. He did as well as he could but that wasn't his ideal spot.. yes too slow and also, not a good use of his skills... he was off the ball with extremely high usage players back then. I don't think that was a real chance. He may get it this season ... maybe.. I can't really forecast what the heck Spurs are doing right now though lol. His opportunities in the playoffs weren't at SG spots and even though the competition was tougher he looked better as a forward.
