Re: Official 2017 Offseason Thread
My 3 biggest needle movers CP, PG, and Blake are all off the table now. PG was a missed opportunity. Star player going for peanuts. That's rare opportunity and the Spurs blew it.

They're nothing without Tim Duncan and lucky as shit they got Manu, TP and now Kawhi (who has turned himself into a Superstar). Without Kawhi, they'd be toast.
Get out of there, Kawhi. You're going to waste two years for nothing.
Let's wait and see what patfo do before jumping ship. You have been spoiled for 20yrs so just hold on tight........ We are gonna be alright

Shut the fuck up. I just don't want old guys getting paid max money or near max money while being locked into long contracts (more than two years if the Spurs are going for those types at that type of money). That doesn't help Kawhi out short or long term. He probably won't be here long term with that type of shit.

The goal should be locking down a team before we have to pay Kawhi a massive contract. This year and next was that opportunity.

Did I hurt your feelings. I didn't single any one out I spoke in general.

Re: Official 2017 Offseason Thread
Funny how a 55+ win team year in and year out never has the assets to trade.

Re: Official 2017 Offseason Thread
Spurs didn't have any expendable players for George to make it worth it. Murray wouldve worked but that's not worth it. In a year when Paul George signs with the Lakers and OKC is back in the lottery you'll realize OKC was going all in cause they had no choice and we have a future here.

Re: Official 2017 Offseason Thread
Apparently Boston offered multiple picks, chrowder and Johnson but no go.
and the lEast is flaming hot garbage

Exactly. I would assume they offered LMA, but Indy must've wanted a diff direction

I appreciate you. Someone that understands. You'd think after all these years of being a Spurs fan they'd understand an inkling of Spurs culture and way. Too much impulsive, emotional takes here.

what future?? murray and fathead and washed up vets at end of their careers like gasol isn't a future for the four year window of Kiwi's prime after which the window is shut for good. At least with PG you have a legit chance to ring next year and that's a shot you have to take when the alternative will be PAFTO striking out in 2018 with any legit star free agent and finishing Kiwi's prime with more 55 win second round ceiling seasons

Re: Official 2017 Offseason Thread
So Presti traded Ibaka for PG? Decent.
