Whether you agree or disagree with his ego or his playing style or his position with the team...he gives it all for basketball and for the Spurs.

Alarmists just needing to sound off, I think.
Melo wouldn't have helped the Spurs as much as he helps a talent deprived OKC outside of Russ and PG13. They are better after the trade than b4 IMO, while getting out of the Kanter contract. He was unplayable against the teams that matter but he would have killed the Spurs. Anyways, this is all about RC and his "we like what we have" stand pat statement.

Amen, bro. Tony rehabs hard and always wants to play. One reason I've never had an issue with the money he's been given.

Which is not an unreasonable position for him to take, essentially returning a WCF team who may very well have given Dubs trouble if Zaza hadn't done a hit on Kawhi. They tried to get Paul, but it didn't work out, so standing pat is a smart move. It's just not sexy. A lot of ST'ers want the instant gratification of acquiring some name player to make their summer interesting, or in a few extreme cases as an excuse to bitch about the "incompetence" of PATFO. But, hey, that's what these boards are for. Discussion.

DeAndre Liggins will probably get waived from Hawks within days, he's probably someone to look at - decent perimeter defender who can shoot the 3.

Definitely worth a look. The Spurs need someone for the Simmons role in case BP3 can't cut it.

There are a few idiots parroting how dumb rc is, but dont the spurs have the best winning percentage of all sports for the past 20 years? No one knows what the spurs are due to injury. Knee jerk reactio s by mental midgets is typical for the society in which we live. Its still funny ro watch these posters think they are making a difference with their internet opinions and emojies...

Sources: Cleveland, San Antonio and Miami are leaders for Dwyane Wade post-Bulls buyout. OKC could become factor too.

He's got a ton of respect for Pop so who knows.
But judging by the Spurstalk posters, our FO does nothing and doesn't reach out to anyone lol

You're probably right.
