What are you talking about? She was roundly criticized by both sides, apologized, and was fired by CNN.
Nugent doubled down, never apologized, and was invited on the campaign trail and the White House.

Pretty much everyone on both sides of the aisle was bitching at Griffin. Not surprising Trump would have someone like Nugent over to the White House though since our Dear Leader talked about assassinating Clinton too.
