Never warmed up to this Apes thing. Which surprises me because I dig all the Kong movies.
I'm not usually a fan of it, but it worked in this instance. My only real gripe was the little girl just wandering into the base unseen. Still...that's just nitpicking. I loved it.Quote:

Yet another film for which Andy Serkis should receive an oscar nomination for best actor but won't. That guy can act circles around anybody in Hollywood.

I watched the modern day one with Marky Mark and wtf, really? I mean due to the writing it was okay but the acting was beyond punk ass.
The ones after that seemed like it was just apes go on temper tantrum, blow shit up, repeat. I never watched a whole one.
