great points he strughles with elite speed at point of attack but othereese is a great defender for a rook. Great vision and touch on his passes but needs to improve midrange , Fts and strsught line drives ...he favors a left handed reverse layup...

such a sad state of the lakers :lmao this is so much fun :lmao
It's not about hype - it's about the opportunity cost of drafting Lonzo at #2 over a better prospect for today's league.
Not saying they play the exact same way... just pointing out how a PG who can't take over the game with scoring limits the ceiling of a team if they're a key player on the roster.Quote:
Your comparison to Pail doesnt make any sense ...Lonzo not only doesnt over dribble but in fact should dribble more.
So you'd be satisfied with drafting Bowen or Iguodala with the second overall pick? :lolQuote:
Title teams need unselfish guys like Iggy, Odom, Kidd Pippen Bowen who are more focused on the collective than hunting shots or glory.
Spot on, per par. Didn't DOK once say that you can't rang with a PG as your best player (or something like that)? Well, he's not our best player (BI is IMO). Once we add talent, neither BI, Randle, Zo, or Kuz will be no more than 2nd options (if we get a max player) - 3rd if we get two.
I'm in a a great state of mind here. Our young guns are developing. We've beaten several playoff teams already: Sp:lolrs, Wizards, Rockets, Philly, Celtics :), Nuggs, OKC (twice), Indiana, and the Heat last night. We went toe to toe with the Dubs and could have won all 3 games (moral victories count for nothing). We were competitive in several other games whereas we lost due to turnovers, stupid fouls, and a ton of missed freebies (all traits of the NBA's youngest team).
So if we have to grow into contention from within, I'm cool with it because I've seen several encouraging signs. Even the Dubs grew from within...then put themselves in position (cap wise) to make key signings to complement their core. Look at them now: a juggernaut that these farmers hate :lol
They set the blueprint. Maginka would be wise to follow it. Time will tell if they have the pedigree to turn this thing around. We shall see....
I'll bite: who's a better overall prospect in this class than Zo? Fox? Tatum? Who? I'd take Zo overall of them and I'm not even joking.
If that's true, explain why, despite him scoring only 8 points, why was he a game high +24? That's higher than IT (29 points), Randle (25 points), Dragic (19 points, 7 assists), etc. Answer: because individual scoring isn't the only way to take over a game. Rebounding, steals, deflections that lead to steals, assisting teammates with scoring, etc - Zo does all that in spades to take over games.Quote:

Sidenote: he's shooting 42% from downtown over his last 15 games (which would be 16th in the league if it were for the whole season btw). He shot 66% last night and 100% last game. His shot is still a work in progress, but he is improving...
SMH :lolQuote:

And where the hell is midnightpulp ole hummingbird ass at? Niglets talk shit then abandone ship! :lol
iggy was a high lottery pick too ...
And doesnt matter where you get unselfishness from ... i just know u need it and Kidd was also the #2 pick ...
And even in today's NBA ...I would have no problem drafting him #2 in last year or this year's draft ...and yes I would take him over Lonzo ...
as long as Lavar is stuck in Lithuania, lonzo has a bright future
I see amb lurking:
The farm team doing okay since ASB :)
More importantly, it looks like that fucker finally took a bar of soap to that face. Good for him.
Longo is a bust, having IT will make them win more games, and Lakerfan will say it was Fecalonzo.
