The Spurs are an elite defense without him (and Dedmon, who was carrying a bunch of the load on that end too). It's hard to act like he was covering for a bad defensive cast when they're doing just fine on that end without him. Obviously on offense, Kawhi DID shoulder a huge load, whether he had to or not. It still doesn't mean he should have broken down, though. His workload was not larger than that of most stars his age.

and he still had his minutes managed. he still was rested occasionally. It's tough to argue Tom Thibodeau stuff with coach Pop.

Like I said, it's typical. I'm not saying it was conscious on your part, but I see it all the time.

Let me guess, the players are mostly responsible for Raptors and Pacers success, but the coach is for Celtics and Jazz? Never fails.

man, I did not even mention the team record or training, just his roster, which changed completely with Jerry West going to the Clippers (in my opinion a team much less dependent on his "stars"), I really did not understand his point at least in relation to my post

Re: Official 2017-18 NBA Season Thread
After more than half season we can say that Rockets are showing signs that Jeff Bzdelik adjustments work finally...
And CP3, PJ Tucker, MaM were exactly what they needed on the defensive end.
I also expected some Harden/CP3 personalty-collapse but didn't happen... I hate to watch these Rockets.

My analysis has nothing to do with race. Doc is an awful coach, as proven by the results.
Furthermore, Doc gets WAY more credit from the media than he's ever deserved. He's arguably the most overrated coach of all time in any sport. So much for your theory.

That comment wasn't directed at you and once again, the point wasn't that he's necessarily a good coach, it's that people generally base whether a coach is good or not off results . . . except when the coach is black.
Maybe until the past few years. Since then, it's become popular to criticize him at every turn.

Pelicans have surrounded him with garbage, even with Cousins they were a low seed. If only he could end up here.

Re: Official 2017-18 NBA Season Thread
anthony davis for kawhi and send new orleans some la trash.

Re: Official 2017-18 NBA Season Thread
Davis would be a nice get for Leonard but dude has to go to the locker room every 2 games. He has to lead the league in trips to the locker room during a game

Kawhi misses more games per season than Davis and it will not be even close after this season...Dude is about to sit an entire year for being "sore".
Let's just end with the clichés and regurgitated false impressions :lol..

Re: Official 2017-18 NBA Season Thread
Leonard is indeed averaging less games per season than AD...
Jesus Christ. :lol
-
Re: Official 2017-18 NBA Season Thread
Kinda easy when he only played 4 playoff games total. :lol

I know it's lame, but I was playing on LA (Los Angeles) and LA (Louisiana). I don't think Kawhi is going anywhere. But what do I know?

Not being funny but this is sad an true. Just to Think Tony has had surgery, an this nigga is just sore. Getting 18mil. If tbis bitch ass nigga is really just sitting out or mad over the roster, how could the Spurs keep this dude. Which leads me to believe the Spurs has to be in on this. Ain't no way the Spurs would pay out 18mil for a player to keep them in total darkness, distance himself from the team, an stop using team trainers an doctors. If that finds to be true, fuck the Spurs an Kawhi. I'll never watch another Spurs game in my life. An throw away all my spurs gear. An it alot of gear.

I give your report more credit than probably any other report that has come out on Kawhi here since you are a long time poster.
End of the day, tho...you are still just some dude on a message board. I’ll believe he is gone when he is gone.

I could careless about giving "my report" credit. I just despise people that make condescending jabs about someone they don't even know.
Then again, it's my fault for expecting anything better in a place like this.
Guess that's why I've only posted 7K times in 12 years on here.

A team Doctor? Please explain. That is big news if true.
