Carlisle is just about the worst coach possible for a rebuild. He’s a genius coach whose skills are wasted here. He’s the perfect “take underacheiving veterans and maximize their potential” style coach, and if LeBron had Carlisle in Cleveland the last 3 years, the Cavs probably would have 3-peated.
